Historia
As a third-year PhD candidate, Olive Smith doesn't believe in lasting romantic relationships—but her best friend does, and that's what got her into this situation. Convincing Anh that Olive is dating and well on her way to a happily ever after was always going to take more than hand-wavy Jedi mind tricks: Scientists require proof. So, like any self-respecting biologist, Olive panics and kisses the first man she sees.

Delightful & entertaining
Revisado: 12-13-21
This is an excellent read/listen. It was relatable and humorous. Olive’s friends were just passing through the story and were forgettable but the main characters were well developed and interesting, including Adam’ s “friends”. I am excited to read the author’s future publications.Thank you to the author for her personal insight and note. I stayed up late to finish it.

Great performance and edge of seat story
Revisado: 09-08-20
This is an excellent book. While listening in the car my teenage daughter commented on the outstanding performance, saying that the reader’s tempo and tone pulled you into the story. She is right. The book goes back and forth between the main characters but it’s never confusing. I look forward to more from the author

Historia
The Inn at Gloucester stands alone on the rocky shoreline. Its seclusion suits former Boston police detective Bill Robinson, novice owner and innkeeper. As long as the dozen residents pay their rent, Robinson doesn't ask any questions. Neither does Sheriff Clayton Spears, who lives on the second floor. Then Mitchell Cline arrives, with a deadly new way of doing business. His crew of local killers break laws, deal drugs, and bring violence to the doors of the Inn.

Enjoyed reading/listening
Revisado: 09-06-20
While it can be a bit of a struggle understanding the background of the various characters, the characters pasts are exposed throughout the storyline. At least what the listener needs to understand the character. It just takes patience. This is an interesting book. It seems a little different from what one usually expects from a Patterson book; however I highly recommend it.

Edge of seat story and performance
Revisado: 08-28-20
I have become “addicted” to the Josie series. While the books are mostly independent of each other, I recommend reading them in order. In each book there is reference back to previous books. This one was one of Regan’s best. Thanks Lisa Madge

Historia
Detective Josie Quinn is horrified when she’s called to the house of a mother who had her newborn baby snatched from her arms. A woman caught fleeing the scene is Josie’s only lead, but when questioned it seems this mysterious girl doesn’t know who she is, where she’s from, or why she is so terrified.... Is she a witness, a suspect, or the next victim? As Josie digs deeper, a letter about a mix-up at a fertility clinic links the nameless girl and the missing child to a spate of killings across the county.

Knowing the end is near, Judge Atlee has issued a summons for his two sons to return to Clanton to discuss his estate. The Brethren: They call themselves the Brethren: three disgraced former judges doing time in a Florida federal prison. In prison these judges-turned-felons can reminisce about old court cases, dispense a little jailhouse justice, and contemplate where their lives went wrong. Or they can use their time in prison to get very rich, very fast.

Great performances and stories
Revisado: 08-11-20
I had read some reviews from some others that criticized the readers for these 2 books. I strongly disagree with the criticism of either Beck or Muller. Both performances were exactly what each story needed. They are different but so is the pace and substance of each book. I did not like the ending of The Summons, it left too much open. Otherwise veey entertaining novels. Madge

Outstanding story and performance
Revisado: 08-01-20
The story line was slightly disturbing and confusing at first but continued reading it is clear there is an upcoming twist and turn. The reader/listener will not be disappointed. Me. Flialkos has a great voice. I never got bored/tired of listening to it. This is a better than average Patterson book. Thanks
