another duet well done

technically this is a reread but listening this time . I'm new to audiobooks. I seem to prefer duet narration and this is my second one by these two narrators. Thomas and Elise do a fantastic job together. Rook is a very unique story that is hard to categorize. If you like romance stories with a suspense twist you'll love this one. what starts as a romcom turns into something totally different. can't wait to listen to Bishop once it's done and to read Knight once that is released 😊

A whole different experience

This was my first audio experience! I had tried others before because could never really focus when it was one voice. I learned about duet narration and was gifted this audiobook to try. I absolutely loved it. I read this book when it first released but listening to it was a whole other experience. Thomas as Marley and every other male character was amazing. Elise as Rain and every other female character was spectacular. It felt like I was listening to a movie. I'll definitely be trying more audiobooks with duet narration.
As far as a review for the story. I'll read anything by L Ann. literally anything lol Marley and Rain's story was sweet but also emotional. I love Rain's strength and Marley's encouragement. He would give that woman the world....I guess he kind of did 🖤
