Great story. Occasionally the male narrator will slip in an almost Australian accent. It’s weird. Either so it or don’t. All it did was distract from the conversation happening at the time. Otherwise they did a great job.

Nor a fan of the female narrator. You can hear her take a breath after almost every single sentence. She also mispronounced A LOT of words. I was invested enough to finish the story. But I’m not sure I would have if I had known about all of the mispronunciation earlier on in the story.

I enjoyed this story and I will get book 2, but the inner dialogue made me roll my eyes sometimes. She is supposed to be 21 but she did seem a bit childish at those times. I don’t love the narrator, that may have contributed to the “eye rolling”.

I loooooovvveeee this series!!! I usually prefer dual narrators for the male and female parts but this narrator did a good job and made it easy to know the distinctions. I am counting down till the 3rd book is released and pray it doesn’t take forever to come out on audible.

This is the first book that i listened to and i couldn't get into it. It started out referencing too many things from previous books and i couldn't ignore the fact that i was missing why some things had happened. It really did read like it was the second book in a series.

Worst Narration of hers I have ever heard

I NEVER write reviews but I have to on this one so that it will hopefully show up and remind me not to get this book. I have tried to listen to this book 2 times and both times I could not get past the 30 min mark because of the narrator. I have other books that she has narrated and I didn't have an issue at all. I don't know why her performance doesn't work for this one, but I HATE IT.

The story is really good and unique. I didn’t love the narrator. Her voice is fine for the most part but she does not do the inflections on the words and in the sentences in a way that sounds right to me. Sometimes causes the sentence to be conveyed incorrectly.
