ok
Revisado: 09-04-21
first off, I am not a Patterson fan. I find his plots predictable. I bought this based on the actors and thought the book as a whole was ok. plot twist at the end, but I wouldn't highly recommend.

Historia
Cal Hooper thought a fixer-upper in a bucolic Irish village would be the perfect escape. After 25 years in the Chicago police force and a bruising divorce, he just wants to build a new life in a pretty spot with a good pub where nothing much happens. Revisado: 10-27-20
I love Tana French and have read all of her books. this one was just ok. I won't spoil anything but I hoped for a more exciting explanation for the main event.

On a sullen, cloudy July day ten years since 7/7, the happy, confident and optimistic British Prime Minister is visiting a charity in East London. It's just two months after the general election which saw John Campbell's government returned to power with a clear majority, the economy is on the mend and the coalition is fast becoming a bad memory. Suddenly, a man appears out of the crowd and shoots him three times in the chest.

You had me at Andrew Scott

Only if you like Andrew Scott
Revisado: 10-03-20
I chose this title because I am a big fan of Andrew Scott, and I have bought other Audible titles he narrates. however I found the story and characters predictable, but does have a surprise twist ending. It should really be a novel instead of a podcast. No need for splitting it into so many episodes.

Entertaining true crime
Revisado: 09-23-20
I'm not usually a fan of true crime stories, but I was drawn in by Michael Caine's performance. Enjoyed all of these and would like to hear more!
