cringeworthy

I have followed this series since the beginning, and while I think the reader is absolutely obnoxious, the story used to at least be good enough to suffer through their narrative. However, the story itself was just cringeworthy. The author filled in the word count with worthless statements that weren't even snarky but just tedious. Now add in the entire scene with the mom and them not keeping their hands off each other, and you are looking for the stop button.

my recommendation? if you are following the story line and don't want to kiss out, get the kindle unlimited version and jump.to the end. you won't have wasted 8 hours of painful whining, screeching, and bad dialog.

Very painful listen

I have listened to the entire series and while I find the narrator absolutely painful to listen to (really, you do not need to physically screech just because the narration says so), this book was just horribly written. The author has made the heroine someone that you just dislike. She is selfish, childish, obnoxious, and add in horrible narration you dind yourself either cringing or mocking the book. Not exactly sure what the author was intending.

I don't want to hear "whole heart", "chests heaving", "it ends today", and oh so many more badly written passages This isn't snarky, it is whiny and screachy.

This will be the last book I buy in the series as I really don't even care anymore, I just want to be put out of my misery from ever having to listen to this narrator again.

wow, had my earbuds in and this reader screeched so loud I felt actual pain.
