Historia
It all ends here. Every decision, battle, triumph, and heartache has led the galaxy to this moment. The Republic is spun wildly into sudden war as Gomarii slavers, in overwhelming numbers, strike on behalf of their Savage allies. The battle is fiercest on a newly rediscovered world: Earth. But galactic war is only the symptom of an older, deeper, and far more dangerous conflict. Now, Keel and Ravi must work frantically to assemble the warriors needed to withstand an ancient threat, and Prisma must wrestle to control her own inner darkness.

Book wasn't ready
Revisado: 05-28-23
The story was rushed and confusing and very dismissive they killed off or out right forgot about characters, then remembered they were supposed to be there wrote in a excuse and went on completly ignoring character growth for suspense.Example ddow who they gave a literally a giant mech brimming with weapons and free alloted to do whatever the homicidal little manic wants. Garrett, the writers entirely forgot, didn't explain how Chun survived a cloud of instantaneous death when everyone else expectedly dropped dead. Not to mention the cybar who would have trouble trying to integrate it to galactic society.so yeah need more time to give it a proper end cause this was all over the place and a mess.

Historia
Taiki Sato had long been the genius behind the Winged Hussars’ success. He spent years innovating, discovering new technologies, and generally making a nuisance of himself. But when he took his first trip to 2nd Level Hyperspace, everything changed. He created an innovative pinplant design, which he had Nemo, the Hussar’s Wrogul physician, install. A short time later, he executed a perfectly planned escape, disappearing from New Warsaw.

Would have given 5 stars , the stores are good.
Revisado: 09-21-22
But series has too many characters and jumps around too much. The timeliness bounce around.. You get stories about The 4 Horsemen, then the next book in series has nothing to do with them at all.
Don't get me wrong I enjoyed listening to all the books I have purchased, but in a series one expects the characters i in the first book to be in them all. When reading/listening to a book you develop a relationship whitb the characters and want to find out what happen to them next in the following book. But only to find out that the next book that it is a totally different group. The book prior to this one was about the adopted Zuul.
Also, the timeline jumps from book to book. I understand that space is vast and travel takes time, but The 4 Horsemen i get the feeling are months ahead in timeliness.I think that this is a good series of books, but there are multiple series in it and could be their own series as stand alone.
I understand that all these characters will eventually cross paths or come together in an epic for all the marbles battle against the Guilds, but this series has over 25 main protagonist .
Not sure if I will purchase anymore of the series just because of what I said above. id compare it to tunning in to watch a Star Trek TNG episode and you get a Deep Space Nine and the following week Voyager then back to TNG.
Like I said before I enjoy the books. but too much jumping around.

Listenable
Revisado: 01-26-22
Mech is overall a decent book, somewhat predictable in storyline. The characters are a stereotypes of military members with the inevitable background stories of their arc.
