New details about old cases.
Revisado: 10-04-19
This book was a good retelling of four crime stories that happened in the past. The story about the Kansas City killer was the most interesting to me as it occurred in an area I am familiar with. The details of each story were told in a concise interesting manner.
The narrator was sometimes hard to listen to. He talked in a monotone voice and almost seemed like he was computerized.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to know the details of crime stories told in a new and different way.

But when Ben’s will reveals a life-altering secret, she suffers a blow no widow should ever experience. Olivia learns that she gave birth to a baby who later died in the nursery. Great story!
Revisado: 09-28-19
This had a great story line, especially for a mom! Author did a great job writing all the aspects that go into family life. I liked how the family has to come together and find each other in adulthood.
I didn't enjoy the narrator though. It took away from some of the great writing. I just want to listen to the story and use my own imagination, unfortunately the narrator tried different voices and the Scottish voice was not good at all. I could ignore but I would't choose another book with this narrator.
I will be looking for other books by this author!

Too much detail
Revisado: 09-26-19
This was a very predictable story. The characters were described well but the plot was easy to determine. I think there should have been more information on the other cases beside the main one.
The narrator did a good job using different voices and tones to distinguish who was talking.

You never know who people really are!
Revisado: 09-24-19
Interesting stories told from the killers point of view. Loved listening but some of the details were a little much for me to listen to, if I was reading it I could have skipped some of those parts. Readers need to be aware that the topics are very graphic and not for everyone especially the sexual situations.
As a psychological thiller reader the story lines were awesome and the narrator made me want to continue listening and pay attention!

Great Horror Story - Not Predictable
Revisado: 09-12-19
Just when I thought I had it all figured out, it went in a different direction. As a fan of Horror Books this is one that kept me interested the entire time! Narrator did a wonderful job of sharing the story. I would definitely recommend this book and I am actually looking up T.J. Payne to see what else I can read or listen to.
