One Great Book- Thank You Ian Nathan

Just finished with quite delight Ian Nathan's perfect retrospective of how Peter Jackson, who was well known for blood splattering comical funny films and then his venture into serious dramatic films turned his sight and transformed what was known as the unfilmable book, Lord of the Rings and how it was written, created, made and released. I loved this book as a fan of how films are made, this book stands out the best that I have read and heard. Through this book, one gets all how it all got made, the ups and downs, the bickering of making it, oh those studios heads bickering about budgeting and the length wise of the films to the absolute joy at Jackson and his Wingnut production made an epic fantasy film on the best fantasy book of all time. What makes this book a joy, a delight in the narration of Tristram Wymark who words make the come alive as he voices all those involved with a sense that yes, these films and that book brought forth are made by those who actually love films and how with that Kiwi spirit made New Zealand into Middle Earth. An excellent book to be cherished.

Important Book to Read at This Time

George Harrison said it perfectly in the song, Beware of Darkness; Watch Out Take Care Beware of Greedy Leaders, Taking You Where Should Not Go.
Kudos to Ms. Ben-Ghait for her exceptional and thoroughly well research book on those who have gained power and have turned this power into their own gains, in other words: dictatorship, now in light of the news that Jack Smith has uncovered about "our dictator to be", this book is a cautionary tale that if we, that is those who believe in democracy and listen to the truth, we will overcome it, it has been done before, only when the public has cried enough already, sadly this is not the case ion North Korea, China, Hungary and Russia who have a stronghold on what goes out to the people in those countries.
Strongmen points out in details just how they became such, utilizing the press, military action, those who back the strongmen and to gain power for themselves.
With the election now weeks away, Strongmen needs to be read and to see what happens when we let it slide. A must read in this time and how that it can be stopped.

An Enthralling Tale to Hear, You Have My Gratitude

In the midst this story, an executive tells the joy of making this film and wonders of how films like this were made, now we have reboots,franchises,Multi-Universe and ponders what happened to really good films, hear hear. Seeing "Airplane" multiple times and each time it's still funny, my deepest thanks to ZAZ for coming up with the ideas that are within the film and the story of three guys from Wisconsin can come out to Hollywood and made a classic. I can say that if Audible had any sense it would incorporate a PDF of photos that are in the book, that well I will get.
This is an enthralling book put together with love and passion from ZAZ you can hear the stories the spin in saying how Kentucky Fried Theatre was created, how Kentucky Fried Movie was made and how just by sheer luck of how "Zero Hour" became the premise of "Airplane". Look taking in what's going on with the nation and the world don't you think, ponder, take in that we need something anything to laugh and laugh hard, listen to this, you'll appreciate it, So There!

Astounding Insight

There are books on Law of Attraction and then there ARE books on Law of Attraction and I'm thankful to Mr. Shinohara for his insight and guidance on creating manifesting, while this isn't an instant manifesting and I guess that's what many are looking for that quick one two three and viola it's here approach, Mr. Shinohara guides the listener into realms of techniques that over a course of time as he suggests that manifesting becomes an art, a way of being, to be in the flow of things. It's definite to be re listen again over and over till it becomes part of your beingness, your state, the way who you are. Ten Stars at least. Amazing Listening

What An Engrossing Tale

You,dear future listeners, are about to take part in a story that is much like Tom and Huck and Ulysses and the adventure that will keep on the edge of suspense and delighted surprise,first off Than You to Amor Towles whose incredible imagination and writing keeps you guessing what's next and how can that happen and WHY??? I loved this production and how the multi speakers gives you that Rashmon feeling to it mmm okay take one part, Rashamon Tom and Huck and Ulysses you'll have a story that will delight you.

Best Book on Movies, Really Movies

Okay let's get this out of the way, Mr. Tarantino speaks at the beginning and the end of the book, so if you are looking to hearing him speak all the way through, sorry, but Mr. Ballerini does a great job in channeling Quentin's passion and love of movies. And in "Cinema Speculation", he brings back to those who remember and those who want to see what made the movies that he speaks of, the passion, the drive and the love of movies and just how these movies rocked, unlike the overindulgent movies these days and in particular the Mega-Universe and reboots of classic movies that features live action, Quentin. Takes on a journey through movies that spark his interest in movies and just how friggin cool it is to see them with an audience. and what made these movies tick in their own way. I know he has a podcast where he speaks of films along the line that is featured in this book, but one can only hope that he will do more books when going to a movie was an event.

A Harrowing Look at The Grim Old Party

But It Will Piss You Right Off
Thank You, David Corn for a riveting look at how the Grand Old Party has gradually turned into the Grim Old Party and how the far right has driven the party of Lincoln into a party that for a while I was in but left after W and his aw-shucks folks, I'm just a plain man following the footsteps like my daddy wants. Corn's well researched investigated just how corrupt the party of Lincoln is now the Party of Trump, that is filled of racism, Antisemitic, neo-Nazi, and hatred for anything that remotely moves US anything to moves us forward to a better way. Brilliantly written, superb spoken (kudos to Steven Jay Cohen for his deliberate pinpoint, step by step reading.

Incredible Book Triple Wow's!!

A remarkable journey of a man's journey to what it seemed like this is the best thing in the world to NO, this is the worst thing in the world and here is my story. Full of enlightenment followed by the harrowing cruelty, the abuse that is given to others all for the sake to make this church, this organization tick, one can only hope that karma in its true form will come and handle it,

In Depth Look at a Sickness. A Must Read/Heard

The truth will set you free, but it will first piss you right off
I blind but I now can see-"Amazing Grace"
First off, thank you to Ryan Busse, for the riveting look at guns and why an organization that desperately clings to idea that it's your right to carry a gun, now granted I have not, nor I want to even touch a gun and for those who use guns for hunting and sport, I say okay but for those who have the idea that I can carry a gun and I can use it for those who have hurt me and my beliefs I say sorry, you lose a turn and do not collect $200.
Mr. Busse takes on his evolution from a successful person with a gun manufacture to the awaking that a well-organized group can twist the amendment that carrying gun is everyone's duty to basically a political organization.
A well written and well-spoken audiobook that will open any one's ears or eyes.
