Such a delight to listen to! Writing is engaging and smooth. Plenty of romance that is intertwined with a plot that drew me in. I want to meet this family in real life, but will settle for reading the rest of the series! Always a win with Queen Maxine and Aiden Snow keeps my heart a-flutter. Thanks to Layla Hagen for creating these wonderful characters!

This headline sums up this terrific audio book! This is everything a romantic mafia adventure requires: Superb narration, an enthralling plot with romance woven in. Kudos to Piper Stone as well as Daphne Hill and Thomas Locklear. There is an actual storyline in this book which held my interest. The romance is spot on. Great acting by Daphne with all the right inflections; Thomas' growly voice is super sexy. Looking forward to listening to the next book!

This was both a new narrator and new author for me. Both did not disappoint! I was drawn into the storyline and was thrilled with the ups and downs of the characters. I laughed at the funny parts and teared up at the sad moments. This story absorbed me, and I was thrilled to add another brilliant author and narrator to my favorite list! A definite 5 stars!

This was a new author for me and I am beyond thrilled to consider myself a fan now! This is not a quick listen or a sex in the second paragraph book. This is an in depth analysis of the hero's mind, slow burn. Written to engage the reader or listener, it opened a world of emotions in me: angst, happiness, despair , love. I am in awe of Aly Stiles' words and mind. Here ability to draw me in was immediate. Her style of exploring characters with depth is 5 stars. I was totally immersed in this story and continue to think about it! Of course now I am backtracking to listen to the whole series! I love the fact that her writing is not one-liners, but descriptive in a phenomenal way!
Joe Arden: Definitely one of his best narrations ever! The fact that this book was solely narrated by him just made the tale believable and lovable. I am in awe of this man, he is not just a narrator but an actor with talent that has no bounds.
I simply love this book and narration. My words of adoration do not do it enough justice, this deserves multiple awards in my opinion!

Every once in a while I listen to a story not in my usual modern romances. This tale is just perfect...beautifully written with little angst but wonderful flow. Characters are well developed and I felt part of the town. The narrator has a very distinctive voice, absolutely perfect for this tale. Her voices are excellently performed. I am so glad I listened and will be looking out for more of this author and narrator!

These stories bring to life the importance of family with a side of perfect romance. Narrator Tatiana is perfect at all the voices and brings the stories to life. This pair of writer and narrator are always a 5 star read for me!
