The writers politics on blast but I still like

Daddy Issuies like wow. The MC father in our world would be a shit bag monster and the write seem to try really really hard to make you dislike him. But it not our world here Kids are forced to take a life and death test in a tower. Then compulsory military service. His old brother goes in to one and never comes out. Monster attack happen a lot, kingdom raise and fall all the time. People do not die of old age often in this world. His mother abandon them so dad does the only sane thing and train his only remaining son hard to the point of abuse in our world. But his train saves his life no less there a dozen time in the first half the book and another twice as many the next. Best dad ever

The core story is excellent the Audio is 5 stars. If it wasn't for the author pushing bigoted politics it would be a soilded 4.8. That said the author just can't seem to help himself. Pushing that a toddler can make an informed decision about sexuality before can read or tie their shoes. Because he likes girl things there is something wrong with him that he was born the wrong sex and should be a woman. Like there is something wrong with him and he needs to change. What is wrong with letting him grow up and letting him make an informed decision what if his just gay or a femboy? Let kids be kids and grow up before pushing your beliefs on them. Do not misunderstand if it had anything to do with the story it be fine but it feels and seems like it is just there to push politics.

For a Plus title it great nearly credit worth

It's a solid dungeon / lite RPG book. The main character is a bit dum, very human-like. The topical woke beta male who thinks he is not racist and a good man when it. He is racist as shit only good if looked at from a very very narrow point of view namely his. Narssitict as hell one of those who is a great friend as long as he is the center of attention and everyone is praising him. If that is what the author was going for a normal man trying to be good become evil this is a 5 of 5 but 3 books in and it still not looking like it. He meant to be a good guy and is in the view of the writer. If later it turns out the writer was playing us the whole time I will come back and eat crow.

Sorry... Really? Thrust? Anyway, Danny Kendrick was a down-on-his luck performer who always struggled to find his place. He certainly never wanted to be a hero. Getting used to a new world is tough. It's even tougher when you're surrounded by axe-wielding barbarians, super hot elf assassins, strange magic, and a jaded System that doesn't appear interested in being charged with yet another companion.

In a world full of superpowers, Felix had a pretty crappy one. He has the ability to modify any item he owns. To upgrade anything. Sounds great on paper. Almost like a video game. Except that the amount of power it takes to actually change, modify, or upgrade anything worthwhile is beyond his abilities. At least, that was until Felix leveraged a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to give himself a great deal of points.
