This book is delightful quick to the point erotica! I mean I should’ve known by the title and length of the book ( 1ht) that is was a fast read. I enjoyed the dual narrative, but thought maybe the “she wolf “ would’ve have a little more dialogue, especially once they met.
For me - the title gave me a feeling that she was dominant more controlling demeanour, which was opposite as I it unfolded.

Dana - this characters voice didn’t really convince me but it was distinguishable from Randy’s

And the secretary Mrs (I can’t remember) omg that was awful c but it made me laugh.
All in all it was funny and enjoyable!

At first it thought this book was quite funny , the introduction of Vionna, Mary and scudder moran. But as it was outlined that Sherlock Holmes and Moriaritt played a big part , in the Altered reality that caught both Vionna and Mary in , I noticed my brain just tuned. It felt like t wasn't about vionna and Mary's main story line , rather the authors affinity with Sherlock Holmes and that era.
So let s talk about Ailsing Gray - the narrator .
I'm want sure that this book was for her when it started , until Mary was introduced ! Wow to make me believe that this character was Irish was an understatement !
Aisling was such a joy to listen to. Her ability to switch from one character to another. - seamlessly and without detection of the "main character was quite refreshing. Though the "non cussing" made it a little more juvenile in Parts, it was still a great to listen to her talented narration style.
I didn't care for all the Sherlock homes stuff and the revelation of who Vionna ended up being , and i did wish to hear more interaction with the 2 women but for what it was it was ok

I look forward to hearing more narration from Aisling Gray.
I was gifted this book for true and honest feedback

I like this book about essential oils and how to use them , though i would've preferred not having to hear "essential oil" after each oil mentioned , especially in blends. Maybe " the following are blends of essential oils used for ..... " and then just list the oils. Also I noticed part way through, the narrators accent changed , significantly which throws off continuity. I felt te narrators voice a little static and could've made the content more exciting in the es it was delivered to the listener. All in all it was very informative about how to use oils! And I will refer to it when making my own blends for butters or oil blends for therapies

I have recently finished this book and found the narrator Valerie Gilbert did an excellent job with alternating between characters. However I did find at times, you could tell when the narrator either stopped reading or something as I found some background noise between chapters at times. I enjoyed the story line about going to shamans in El Salvador to rid her body of her cancer and how the women pulled together, to be there for her.
A few things That didn't sit well with this book was -
Tess seemed to give, to her own independence , it most felt like it was rushed so that the book could end and sort of , to me anyways, seem like a "settlement"

Although , Joline was the more spiritual of them all, the way the author allowed her to just forgive Ellie's situation ( without giving anything away) being she's married to her brother, didn't seem all that realistic to me.
I would've thought that maybe they would've hashed things out with a little more feeling, and stretch it out a bit longer - if you know what I'm saying especially

And the 3rd issue I had with the book ,
We're the accents. A lot of the times it sounded less Spanish or indigenous and more Russian or German. I think more time could've been spent honing and accent to be more believable, being that I speak Spanish. It didnt feel authentic and at times took me away from being in El Salvador or in any Spanish speaking country. For instance when momma rosita spoke to Ellie , the narrator would say " mi hija" Spanish speaking persons wouldn't separate those two words. They would simply say " mija". I think that's where the author maybe could've had a better understanding of the language to relay that so the narrator could understand it better too

I was given this book as a gift in exchange

I love period pieces and bow is been a fan and offered it will take me back in time and feel and hear the part of the culture the list and drawl of that era. The narrator Megan Kelly typically I find her voice very constant but I have to give her props for this book she blew me away !!The writing was amazing that,in my eyes, I felt that I was actually there in the south. Megan , girl, the distinctions she was able to make between the characters between male and female between Aundie and the sheriff and Katerina and Kade especially was just phenomenal. I have to say this is one of the best books that I've listen to you from Megan Kelly thus far and I look forward to listening to so many more. This book was given to me as a gift for my honest and unbiassed review

I have read the other two books in the series and found them quit enjoyable.
Marla always seems to find herself into another murder mystery but this time I found it a little bit peculiar. Although detective vail was still a part of this book, I found it a little annoying that the main character Marla was flying around town asking all these questions and yet the detective was in the background. For me that wasn't very believable and it kind of felt a little out of place It was still a fun book but I would've found it to be a little more profound if she stayed a little in the background and let the detective do more of the detective work while she secretly or more discreetly got clues around the town
I think main character got a little cocky because she previously had helped detective vail on other murders but really she's just a hairdresser.
