I thoroughly enjoyed this. Boy oh boy was this a prequel of prequels.
First snow, now Haymitch. Just read it. You absolutely will not be disappointed.

The story is starting to heat up 🔥

I love this series. Every time a new one releases, I restart the entire audible series. The narration is perfect. The story gets going with betrayal, abuse and Jacky’s community of loved ones come together for a common goal. It’s a pivotal time in the world building. Jacky is coming into her own, and forming strings bonds with those around her.

Good start to the series

I checked this out because it was included with membership. All reviews said slow start so I had prepared for it. It wasn’t until chapter 13 that I finally got into the story. There was a lot of character introducing and world building in this one. Since it’s a series I am not counting it as a negative. Check it out! It’s pretty good.

Really love this series

I have re-listened this series each time a new one came out. First book was world building. A lot happens but it’s setting the scene for the whole series. Damn it’s a good series. Not a huge smut book so don’t expect it. You won’t be disappointed.

Pretty cute 🙂

I’ve had this on my reading list for a while now and I’m super glad I got around to reading it. At first I was confused because there was a heat early on and (trying not to give away any spoilers) after the heat the conversation made it seem like the book would be complete, yet there were still 8+ hours in the book. I shouldn’t have fret because the rest of the book was still great. Low angst and a good omega book overall. Some omegaverse books are like oh scent match there’s no way we can’t be together, and boom! Happily ever after. I liked seeing the build up and the character development.

I like light fun reads but this was a bit too light. The premise of the story is good but it was juvenile. What late 20s to early 30s age person says finger bang? And Three of the four men said it. A lot of the story was the four of them using exact same words repetitively to describe their current thoughts. Also in the 4.5 hour story 3 of it was sex. No character development also. Had the potential to be super cute and hit you in the feels but it just didn’t.

This was pretty awesome. I just finished a pretty heavy war themed audible last and this was just what I needed after. A light hearted, loving, easy read.

Good story quick ending

The story could have really done with an epilogue. No depth to the ending at all.
The story was good though and I enjoyed listening. Both narrators were great.

Awesome addition to the series

This one provides you with all the tumultuous feels. Up and down, happy and sad with all the usual sassy banter. When you’re nearing the end you expect it to close on a high note then bam! Curve ball. Next one comes out in February. Now I wait..

Cute book

The story line was good. You don’t expect what is coming, which I appreciate. The main characters inner monologue irritated me a bit. I binged this in three days, so I didn’t need numerous reminders of who’s who or who did what. I’m his book could have been dropped down by 8 hours from just removing some of the inner monologue. Besides that, it kept me interested. Lots of fun sex scenes that are (mostly) realistic so that was cool you could really visualize and imagine the stuff going on.
