What would you do if the fae took over your world? Are the light fae really to be trusted? Chloe and her friend Bram are thrown into a war between the fae as they try to save the mortal world they grew up in. But who really is Bram and how does he know so much about this war and the fae? I only have one complaint about this book..it was to short and I needed more. I will be picking up book two very soon. I fell in love with the characters in this story as well as the world. It mixes magic and fae with our modern day world which I thought was an awesome concept. If you are looking for a good fae book this is definitely a must read. I also really enjoyed hearing about the details of the magical creatures as well as the many different weapons they have to use to help them stop this war. I also enjoyed the magic in this world and I think C.K. Dawn did and amazing job mixing their world with ours. The narrator also did an amazing job brining the characters to life in this story. Their were parts of this story that had me laughing and the parts that had me fearing for their safety. Dawn really has a way of writing and made me feel like I was there and part of the action. I couldn’t put this book down and can’t wait to start book two!

Historia
Occult investigator Sam Logan receives a cryptic call about a man’s missing son that leads him and his partner, Carter Mason - a disabled veteran - into a small town infested with vampires. With each hour they spend in town after dark they discover just how deep the infestation runs and just how unlikely father and son will be reunited. Trail of Blood is an exciting, blood-soaked, pause-resister for fans of The Lost Boys and Hellblazer.

What would you do if your son got turned until a vampire? Hire the best detectives their is, Sam Logan. Sam prided himself in bringing to justice everything that goes bump in the night. But when the cases quit coming in Sam agency, Fringe Investigations, is close to being shut down due to no revenue. However one faithful night the phone rings...
I really fell in love with this book. It was a good twist on the vampire genre and I was all here for it. It not only put a new spin on the genre but on the stigma of vampires as well which I enjoyed. This book keeps you on your toes with a mix of romance, action, and intrigue. I only really have one complaint about this book was that I wanted so much more of the story. I wish it was longer but I really hope the authors decide to make more books in this series. I need more adventures of Sam the vampire investigator and his lovable crew! I also enjoyed the narration in this book. It was easy to discern between the characters and the narrator gave each of the characters their own personality which I really enjoyed!

Historia
No one's afterlife is as depressing as Audrey's - at least that's what she believes after waking up dead without her memories and being promptly assigned to hunt demons for the rest of eternity. She's convinced there's been a cosmic mistake; after all, she'd rather discuss the color of her nails than break them on angelic weapons. It doesn't help that her trainer, Logan, is as infuriating as he is attractive. When an ancient weapon of unparalleled power chooses Audrey as its wielder, attracting the attention of the ruler of Hell, Logan is the only one she can trust.

Amazing!
Revisado: 05-31-19
This book was a breath of fresh air. I really enjoyed how it portrayed the after life. Ever wonder what happens to us after we die? Audrey wakes up in the after life with no clue how she has passed. She is trust into an amazing adventure as she makes her way through the after life and is assigned her job as a huntress, a demon hunter. Between training and learning about her new world she spends her days training and learning about her new world and role while making new friends and maybe something more.
This book exceeded my expectations. A beautiful created world along with amazing characters such a as Audrey and Logan. Their character development in this book was amazing you can really see how much Audrey grows and learns throughout her journey and makes me very excited to pick up book two to continue with this amazing adventure. This book takes a different spin on the angels vs demons books that I have previously read and I really enjoyed the direction this book is headed. I will be picking up book two very soon!

Magic has been franchised. Magical conveniences are sold everywhere like designer coffee. Everyday life is filled with technical and magical wonders. Only, the magic is murdering people. Thoth Corp's hot new spell is turning people into ravening monsters. Their only hope to quietly rectify the situation before the epidemic spreads is the spell architect they framed and sent to prison. El's response to his former partners wasn't polite. Homeless, forbidden to use government-regulated magic, and barely surviving out of dumpsters, Eli struggles to rebuild his life.

Really interesting book with amazing magical creatures!
Revisado: 05-30-19
This book was unlike anything I have ever read before. Magic has become accessible to everyone in the world as long as you have the right equipment. However what would you give to become beautiful. Eli discovers just how twisted magic can become. When Eli is falsely accorded and sent to the wasteland upon his rerun he discovers tang the spell he has crates to help people with physical disfiguring, such as burn victims, become “beautiful” has been drastically altered. The spell could go so wrong it could turn you into a monster! So what is the price of beauty. However how will he help his friends when if he himself gets caught using magic he could find himself back in the wasteland?!
This book will take you on a wild ride with many unique characters and magical creatures on Eli’s quest to fix his spell along with helping his friends along the way! I really enjoyed the narrator, David S. Dear, he did a very good job of bringing the characters alive and made sure to make it easy for us to discern each character by giving each one their own quirk or accent with his voice! It felt like listening to a full cast audio book. If you are looking for a good book filled with lots of magic and magical creatures then this is the book for you!
