Great Story, Bad Ordering

I enjoyed the story. But I was really thrown out of whack by the fact that they put the Exiled: Void Wraith Prequel novella between books 1 and 2 instead of at the end, where it occurs chronologically. Who the hell was responsible for that?!

WHY WITH THE ACCENT NOW?!?!?!?!

What did you like best about The Shelters of Stone? What did you like least?
Sandra Burr randomly starts using an exaggerated accent for Ayla in this book.. IT'S REALLY HORRIBLY DONE! The level of accent changes multiple times in just chapter 1, Even the same paragraph of dialogue! I might have to give up listening to this series while doing other things and reserve it for when I have time to devote to actual reading.
