Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Historia
The end of the world has come not with a bang or a whimper, but with the guttural snarl of walking corpses hungry for human flesh. The "lucky" survivors flee an unstoppable virus spreading death and societal collapse across the globe. As the rules of civilization crumble, a lawyer, a pilot, and a nurse become comrades-in-arms in the fight against extinction. But not every enemy wears a rotting face, and anyone who doesn’t have your back just might have your head. Humankind’s twilight is at hand, and these are indeed... dark days.

Movie Worthy Series

Any additional comments?
Or a nice television mini-series. Excellent writing, story, performance. I listened to most of this book in one setting. If it were reading it, I'd be calling it a page-turner. Really loved this second in the series. Luculus continues!!!

Historia
A mysterious incident in Russia, a blip buried in the news - it’s the only warning humanity receives that civilization will soon be destroyed by a single, voracious virus that creates monsters of men. A lawyer, still grieving over the death of his young wife, begins to write as a form of therapy. But he never expected that his anonymous blog and journal would ultimately record humanity’s last days. Governments scramble to stop the zombie virus, people panic, so-called Safe Havens are established, the world erupts into chaos; soon it’s every man, woman, and child for themselves.

Manel Loureiro Makes You Believe
Revisado: 04-10-14
Any additional comments?
The writing was compelling and the read by Nick Podehl was phenomenal. What terrified me most was the possibility that this was a stand-alone work. Just found out there are two books in the story. While I do not believe in the supernatural, I surely enjoyed believing for the duration of the listen.

Historia
For the handful of scattered Jedi, survival is imperative if the light side of the Force is to be protected and the galaxy somehow, someday reclaimed. Yet more important still is the well-being of the twin infants, Leia and Luke Skywalker, the children of Anakin and his doomed bride, Padme Amidala. Separated after Padme's death, they must be made safe at all costs, lest the hope they represent for the future be turned to horror by the new Sith regime, and the unspeakable power of the dark side.

James Luceno is the Stephen King of Star Wars!!
Revisado: 06-25-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, but only if they were a true fan of the Star Wars Universe because this story fills in the history of this partiuclarly tumultuous time period for the Empire, spreading it's wings, and the vulnerability of Skywalker's two children to father who must remain unaware of their existence.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Shrine. I could see him easily as a main character in a film covering this time in the Star Wars universe because he holds true to the best of his ability all he has learned as a Jedi amid the unthinkable near-extinction of the Jedi Order.
What about Jonathan Davis’s performance did you like?
Wonderful voice. Easily pulls one into the story.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Darth Vader's Tyrannical Ascension to Power!
Any additional comments?
James Luceno is uniquely qualitifed and capable writer when it comes to setting brush to canvas in stories set forth in story by George Lucas. He truly carries the vision of Lucas as he seamlessly brings vivid life to those years in the story we are all naturally curious about.
