well Steven King has done it again. The book kept me intrigued and captivated the entire way through. I got to know these people. I watched them change because of their shared traumas and beliefs. We are more frightening then we realize.

A riveting tale of the untold

This book will captivate you. it weaves a spell of intrigue and mystery around every turn. The violence and fear is palpable and the language will move you through time. These night women are complex women and we unfold as they do on this journey. This book will seep its way into you in a eerie manner like moonlight. Compelling and broken, is all I can say about The Night Women, this book is a must have.

Bones thrilling story you can't put down

you will fall in love with the world created Tomi Adeyemi. Rich textures and poetic imagery balance a historic conflict rooted in today's pain. visceral while tender. A performance that sets it apart from most audibal stories I've heard. Brilliant!!!

Better than expected

I've read M. T. Pope books before and I've become a fan. This was my first audio book from him and it was much better than I expected. there were some great voice performances from mom and son that made this story worth coming back to. the story pushes us at times in places we shouldn't necessarily be going. shock moments and alot of them, but it's not a joke. it's a well thought out story. It gets hot and bothered so if you don't like the intense sexuality stiff (straight or gay), this is not for you. otherwise, enjoy.

spectacular history of words.

I've studied literature and this relationship resonates continuously through out history. Troung Tran and Wanda Davis more recently. sometimes cantankerous, sometimes heart warming and a comfort that's warmer that blanket in from of the fire. Sarah Ruhl does it again. Her writing will sweep you away.

Strikingly Beautiful

For this to be her first novel, it's purely astonishing. The rich nature of language and raw aggressive content makes for a longer than prescribed listen. You will rewind. You must rewind! Sometimes three and four times just to take in the magic of her construction of emotions, locations, people and conversations. Epic, tragic and haunting are the words left ed burned in my brain.

This was a wonderful getaway from my day

such a splendid narrative and rich layered characters. I felt like a fly on the wall at times. Star Jones is a beast and may be the new Jackie Collions, rest her soul, for the next generation of steaming celebrity gossip mongers ready to read about the rich and famous. She's got daytime on lock with this work right here. Maxine is a monster you'll enjoy hating, and the show behind the show is hilarious.

You've gotta try this one out if you haven't already. if you have, read it again, you may have missed something.
