Slow, angst-y, and not much gay sex
Revisado: 01-26-11
okay seriously, you might just want to head out to your local library and pick up the paperback version of this book. I like the nightrunner series, but this particular book is a little bit of a let down.
also, with all these people crying about "explicit homosexuality" one would expect actually read about some explicit homosexual acts. but that is not really the case, it is definitely mentioned, but not in any amount of detail. mostly the two guys make googly eyes at each other. which is cool. i find sex scenes so awkward on audio books.
4th book is much better, i would say.

Explicit Homosexuality! And A Darker Plot
Revisado: 01-11-11
Truthfully, there is not all that much hot man-on-man action going on until the second book, and even then there is not a great deal of it. I mean, this is not like a P.L. Nunn novel (not that I read that kind of stuff *awkward cough*). All in all, I enjoyed the second book much more than the first one. A nice spooky plot, not as much lecturing speeches by characters as there was in the first book, a good deal of action...yeah, it was pretty okay.
