And I don’t mean that in a derogatory way. I just think history tends to frame Martin Luther King Jr. as a saint, almost untouchable in his moral perfection. But the truth is, he was a complicated man—flawed, like all of us.

I don’t usually get through books of this size so quickly, but I finished this one in less than a week. One of the best books I’ve read in a while. Highly recommend.

I listened to it all in one shot. Absolutely loved Dan's story. Highly recommend, for sure.

It's crazy how no matter how much time goes by that there is so much that remains the same. Dr. King shares his views on what a more diverse, inclusive, and more equitable America consists of.

I can't say enough about this book. First of all, Bryan Cranston is an American treasure and must be protected by all costs. I've heard him on various podcasts over the years, specifically on Chris Hardwick's, so I knew I was going to be in for a treat.

It was really a treat to listen to this book. It was quite funny, insightful, and immensely inspiring. I couldn't recommend this memoir more . It was everything I wanted it to be and so much more.

Charlemagne is easily one of the most centered radio/media personalities so I knew this was at least going to be entertaining. I wasn't expecting to him to drop as many gems as he did.

This book read like a hip hop version of Gary Vaynerchuk's Crushing It.

Number one gem: Remember the rule of 10. There will be 3 people who will hate what you do regardless, 3 people who will love what you do regardless, and 4 people that'll be indifferent. Disregard the people that will hate what you do forever.

No matter what you do it'll never be enough and they don't really care to have a civilized conversation with you anyway.
