I’ve gone through the whole series, and it can be very entertaining. The tasering in every book has gotten really old. Charlie’s juvenile antics are funny, at times, and some times annoying. Also, being able to just walk out of the police station after delivering Addie to them, is just too unrealistic.

The narrator is excellent. I wouldn’t have listened to this series without her. Her delivery of the dialog is perfect; her comic timing and intonations make this series worth reading.

Loved the crossover with the Poppy Perkins series. Really funny repartee although Charlie is very juvenile for her age. I’d like to see her mature a bit as time goes on.

The tasing is getting a bit old. Charlotte should have heart problems by now! Also, doesn’t make sense that she’s out of shape and not doing some self-defense training. Nobody is that lucky to survive the number of tasering and beatings Charlie has in such a short time.

Reminds me of the Miss Fortune series by Jana DeLeon. Another favorite of mine.

The narrator is excellent!! I wouldn’t have enjoyed the book as much without this narrator. She makes the characters come to life. The voices are individual, and her comedic timing is right on point! I’ll definitely look for other reads by this narrator!

Witty and cute

Enjoyable read; great narrator! Charlotte getting tasered is a bir old. Also, why she isn’t learning more about self defense makes no sense. Overall though,I like the series.

So sorry to see this one end. Love the characters. The narrator does a great job in making the story come to life. I do hope there are more Poppy Perkins books to come.

Solid clean story!

I really did enjoy listening to this book. The characters are likable, the plot is interesting and the narrator is excellent!! Put me in mind of one of my favorite series, the Miss Fortune books by Jana Deleon narrated by Cassandra Campbell.

My Most Favorite Series EVERRR!!

I love the Miss Fortune Series!! I’ve listened to books 1-28 twice. The narrator, Cassandra Campbell, is outstanding, and I’m so happy she’s narrated the whole series. The characters are so entertaining and engaging; I feel like I know each one personally and can’t wait for the next book in the series. Keep ‘em coming!!

Annoying Nemesis

Overall good story with a nice ending. It had the makings of a great book it missed the mark but there was way too much angst. At times, it bordered on stupidity. I fast forwarded through some chapters b/c it got so annoying.

‘I love him but he doesn’t love me. She could never love me. I’ll sacrifice and marry the wicked witch to get controlling stock in the pharmaceutical company to help Ellie’ … even though he’s a billionaire!! Please stop!

Good Story

Love this series; I’ve purchased and listened to every book and pre-ordered the next in the series. I feel like know each character personally and plan on listening to all of them again.

I would love to see more of Fortune’s sniper skills and hand-to-hand expertise. I love Gertie but sometime get tired of her screw ups.

Overall, a great series.

Fun and Clean!

I’ve listened to the whole series and love the characters!! Stories are interesting, funny and made me laugh out loud several times. The narrator is excellent. Although the Gertie character is way too predictable, she’s so sweet and lovable, it’s hard not to like her. Looking forward to the next book!
