The cover photo didn’t completely match the story but great story.

With a cover photo like that I thought there would be a bit more steam. It seemed like there could have been a bit more time devoted to the main couple when they actually were able to be alone together, which did not seem to happen as much. Did really enjoy a new & different perspective of Celtic & Roman time and living. Really enjoyed the characters, character development and story though. Will look to see if more stories are following on these characters, would read more. I found this book as it was on sale so it was nice to find a good story and on sale as a weekend read.

He was older in the last Maclean book I just read about “Chase” from the fallen angel casino series.
