Rugby Romance at it's finest!
Revisado: 11-20-15
I am a huge fan of Rosalind James "Escape to New Zealand " series. On this book, the characters we already love from previous books have an appearance. The story is engaging, sweet, romantic and steaming hot! I could't wait to hear about Drew and Hanna, Finn and Jenna, and all the other characters.
Claire Bocking, the narrator is phenomenal as always. I highly recommend reading the whole series to be able to enjoy fully this book.

Historia
When you wish upon a star... Alec Kincaid has never met the obstacle he couldn't overcome - or the woman who could resist him. And it's not going to happen now, not with his star shining more brightly than ever in the high-stakes arena of San Francisco's software industry. Desiree Harlin doesn't believe in fairy tales, and she doesn't waste time wishing. She's learned the hard way that dreams don't come true. And with her reputation and hard-won security on the line, succumbing to temptation isn't an option.

Great Modern Romance!
Revisado: 06-03-15
I am a huge fan of all the books written by Rosalind James. To me, to be able to read and listen at the same time to "Nothing Personal" was very exciting! I love how Alec and Rae, a modern day couple, face a conflict of interest because of their working conditions.
You can read/listen to this book alone or read the whole series which I strongly recommend.
The narrator Emma Taylor is as good as Claire Bocking who narrated the "Escape to New Zealand series, which is my all time favorite.

Excellent book, enjoyed every minute of it!
Revisado: 04-14-15
This book is part of a series of books from the author Rosalind James, "Escape to New Zealand". Although you can read/listen to this book on it's own, It definitely adds to it if you reed/listen to the whole series, which I highly recommend.
This book is about a famous all "All Black" Rugby player (Hugh), who falls in love with a beautiful Maori soap opera actress, (Josie). The book has a great plot, and I guarantee you that even though you can figure out the ending, you cannot imagine the twists and turn of the book, making it impossible to put down. The narrator Claire Bookins in phenomenal, probably her best reading so far!

Historia
Nate Torrance has a job to do, and the biggest rugby boots in the world to fill. He can't afford to lose his focus, especially not to a brown-eyed Canadian who pushes all his buttons and looks much too good in a climbing harness. Allison Villiers may not know what she wants to do with her life, but she's clear about one thing. She's not impressed by the new captain of the All Blacks, however big a deal he is to the rest of New Zealand.

Great modern day romance, loved it!
Revisado: 01-18-15
This book is about two rugby players who fall in love with two friends. Liam and Kristen fall in love after both of them have had their disappointments in they're personal life as well as they're love life. Nate and Ally fall in love after some heartbreak, but nevertheless they meant to be together. This book is a true modern day romance, I recommend all of Rosalind's book, but Just my luck is my favorite.

Historia
Nic Wilkinson is a responsible, organized, disciplined rugby player at the top of his game. Emma Martens is a sometimes-scattered, often-emotional, and always-broke would-be designer with a big chip on her shoulder where Nic's concerned. They have no history together, except one perfect week. Nothing in common anymore, except the most important thing of all. Getting together again would be messy. Complicated. Scary. And, just maybe, worth every risk.

Entertaining, full of energy and very original
Revisado: 10-19-14
Would you consider the audio edition of Just for Fun to be better than the print version?
I like the print version better, but the narrator is very talented.
Who was your favorite character and why?
My favorite character is Nick because he wants to do the right thing by showing how responsible , kind and dedicated he is to his son, the team and his one and true love.
What does Claire Bocking bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I tend to read to fast, sometimes I miss a detail, by having Claire read the book, the pace is slower and with the different voices is more detailed.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Absolutely, it was hard to put it down.
Any additional comments?
"Just for Fun" is book number four of a series of books were famous All Black rugby players fall in love. The books take place in beautiful New Zealand. In this book the main character Nick, is engaged to a woman named Claudia. While Claudia is planning their wedding, Nick finds out that he has a son with another woman (Emma), that he had no idea he had. The books shows how Nick wants to do the right thing, by showing how responsible, kind and dedicated he is to his son, the team and his one and true love. Emma, has great qualities as well, she is trustworthy, a terrific mom and a creative independent individual. Once you begin reading this book it's almost impossible to put down.
