Historia
Alex faces the consequences of her choices on a ship full of strangers. Forced to confront a civilization built on the regulation of her kind, she has to learn and adapt to situations she never imagined. Some see her as the key to breaking a decades-old stalemate, others as a threat that will ignite the fires of war once more. But all Alex wants is her sister and NAI companion back.

Another great ShipCore installment.
Revisado: 02-02-25
I very much enjoyed the continuation of Alex’s adventures. The narrator is fantastic and this book really explores a lot of interesting situations.
I didn’t love the split story format as much (two parallel stories), but it does let us see the now spread out characters and see their antics.
Looking forward to 4.0!!!

Historia
In an impoverished border town with a population dwindling as fast as hope, Gwen Tailor aims to change things. She is a daughter of the Seamstress class, drawing on the bloodline skills of her mother, who stitches with a speed that veers into the realm of magic. An awesome feat. But armed with a giant piercing needle, Gwen is more than a seamstress. To save her people from extinction and create a pattern all her own for survival, she must be a monster slayer. In the core of the town is the dungeon, a deep-pitted breeding ground. Gwen is going where the monsters dwell.

Refreshing New Entry into LitRPG with great Narration
Revisado: 01-07-25
I absolutely loved this one. Intriguing non-standard classes, neat dungeons, cool gear. I’m glad I found this one after a few letdowns prior.
To top it off, it has one of my favorite narrators, Andrea Parsneau, who is amazing.
My only complaint is that book 2 isn’t out yet.

Historia
We join Montana, recently returned from an impromptu study abroad trip, a bit wiser, a bit broader in perspective, and a lot freaked out by the once-dead person who's currently in his bedroom. Possible zombie sightings aside, he's finally ready to take his job as Duke seriously. And just in time too - not only are the politics of the capital rapidly closing in on Montana's little valley holding, but there are also goblins to negotiate with. Plus, that cult threatening to take the lives of his citizens.

I was nervous based on the title, but this is another great installment. Mystery, politics, and improvised weapons galore.

Historia
Brin is scarred, but no longer alone. After giving up his evil Rare Class in exchange for the simple and common Glasser, he’s finally been accepted by the people of Hammon’s Bog. But acceptance doesn't guarantee safety. Mirrors and glass spearheads offer little protection against threats both outside and within. An army of undead is lurking in the surrounding forest, cutting them off from the rest of the world. There’s no rescue in sight, and worse, no one knows why the army is there or when it will attack.

Historia
All the world's a stage...even when you're teleported to a new world. Struggling actress Cara O'Sullivan was walking down the street of Galway one moment, and the next, she was in an ancient tomb in a faraway world. Alone in the dark with her cell phone as her last tenuous connection to home, Cara sings her favorite song. To her astonishment, her song casts a spell of light into the world...and from the depths, something hears her. Challenged by a ghostly knight, a tragic necromancer, and hordes of undead, can a young woman who does not believe in heroes become one herself?

Fantastic inn-world story!
Revisado: 06-14-24
Pirate Abba, Andrea Paraneau?! Another great addition to the Wandering Inn Saga, this time giving a glimpse of Terrandria and the undead. It’s great. Also sad. And frustrating. And inspiring. I loved it!
I did cringe at a few of the songs… not quite what I’m used to in an audiobook, but the performances were good.

Historia
Death and reincarnation. Kuroe Makoto, the tomboyish ace of her high school track-and-field club, never spared a thought for these things before. However, when she falls asleep in her Tokyo home after an exhausting marathon and wakes up in a fantasy world, those concepts become her reality. Unlike common light novel settings, she isn't reincarnated as the naturally good-looking and talented human hero who gathers a harem effortlessly. In fact, she isn't reincarnated as a human at all. She is reborn as "Chaos", child of the demon queen and heir to a kingdom at war with humanity.

Disturbing isekai with cringey writing
Revisado: 11-29-23
I wanted to like this book. Isekai, adventure, giant tentacle monster, sexual encounters, overpowered mc, great cover, it could have been good. But it wasn’t. The writing tended to be very obvious, tended to overuse phrases, and was annoying to listen to. The main character is insufferable and disturbing, and the humor generally misses the mark. Stopped with a few hours left in the book.

Historia
Of course, if there were only one thing under Liscor, there would be far less to fear. However, the dungeon continues to be a threat. At the same time, Goblins continue to roam northern Izril, but not all of them are as hostile to people as Tremborag or the Goblin Lord. Will the Unseen Emperor of Riverfarm make that distinction, however? A reckoning is coming as old faces and new reemerge. And all the while, The Wandering Inn is still serving food and respite and even plays to adventurers and Antinium alike. But something is coming from the dungeons. And it—they—are hungry.

Historia
"No killing Goblins." So reads the sign outside of The Wandering Inn, a small building run by a young woman named Erin Solstice. She serves pasta with sausage, blue fruit juice, and dead acid flies on request. And she comes from another world. Ours. It's a bad day when Erin finds herself transported to a fantastical world and nearly gets eaten by a Dragon. She doesn't belong in a place where monster attacks are a fact of life, and where Humans are one species among many. But she must adapt to her new life. Or die.

Surprising Story
Revisado: 08-14-22
This one was a wild ride. Ten hours in I searched the Internet to try and figure if there was any reason to keep reading. Then it got better. Then much better. This story kept accelerating became more and more immersive. Not for the feint of heart, there is sadness, mistakes, regret, and real emotional turmoil mixed in with mundane scenes and gory battles. The high points shine in brilliant wonder and the low points are heart-wrenching my painful.
The performance is spectacular. It’s a slow start, but picks up pace as the network of flawed characters is weaves together.

Historia
A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

I was a pretty nervous about taking this book on, but it really was delightful. The bizarre situations, off-the-wall descriptions, and Witt commentary are wonderful.
I really found myself rooting for Carl and Princess Donut. Definitely would recommend, especially to those who like a book with a lot of personality, are okay with a little wackiness, and are interested in litRPG.
