Best narration ever

I've just finished listening to this dramatised version of Kiban for about the 3rd time in as many years - it never gets old! The narrator is one of the best voices I've ever across (I've over 3k audio books, so I should know!) and he elevates the story for me, with his myriad of voices (as demonstrated throughout the series). This combo of great story and great narrator is audio gold.

fantastic new series spun off from The Jane Yellowrock series. C. Hvam as always, delivers a masterful narration that pulls you in. love the take on wood nymphs.

I've really tried to like the series, but it's quite difficult to like a protagonist who acts like a recalcitrant hedonistic teenager instead of a grown woman. not likely to continue the series as there's no point in getting myself pissed off unnecessarily

the story has a lot of potential and I would have looked to get the next in the series but.....the narrator didn't do it for me. found the narration a bit nasally and annoying. will consider getting the ebook for the next book in the series

totally worth the credit

I've been looking out for a new book/series/ author for a while now and this is one of the best I've come across in ages! I've tried several books / authors but hadn't found an author in the world-building leagues of Anne Bishop, Ilona Andrews, John Scalzi..... Can't wait to read the next book (crooked kingdom) and other books by the author - fingers crossed Leigh Bardugo continues to impress me!

easy read, got a few laughs. The female narrator was great, but the male narrator was a bit over the top (every other sentence sounded overly dramatic).
nice listen overall, even though I had to skip some of the sex scenes - overdone and trite sometimes.

simply the best

this is one of the best books I've read in a very long time. Couldnt stop listening! And Siobhan Wesley (narrator) brought this to life in ways I couldn't imagine. I loved the realistic 'angst' of dealing with meeting the right person at the wrong time, though you know they're the "one".
this book had me in stitches and my kids wondering out loud what was so funny.
can't wait to read another book from the author!!!!

The blurb didn't do this book justice - almost didn't get it!
Well worth the purchase; touched on real life everyday issues, from different perspectives - learnt a lot too.

A bit too much gratuitous violence towards the end. Very unexpected and too much horror for my liking. Killed the vibe. Not my thing
