Loved the history having been to Glencoe and learned about the massacre. I liked the story but was confused going back and forth with the letters. I lost track on audible. Overall, I liked it but didn’t love it. Slow moving.

Engaging but long and preachy

Recommend to me by a friend. Glad I read/listened. Part mystery/thriller, good plot twist and family drama. Loved learning about bees and honey. Trans perspective is interesting but came off as preachy, and too long. Agenda distracted from the story.

Would recommend to fans of historical fiction, and Scottish culture. Narrator was fantastic with beautiful Scottish accent. Story was slow at times but overall very much worth the credit!

Empowering listen. Practical and insightful.

I've read lots of self-help books over the years but like Mel's realistic, practical advice here. Achievable for anyone without blaming others, making small steps toward progress you can become more in control of your life knowing some things have to be let go. I felt like I could see myself in each of her examples with clients and enjoyed hearing them figure out their self-defeating patterns as I thought about my own.

Escape to England via this beloved, gothic novel!

I was hooked me from the start with Du maurier's artistic and imaginative words describing beautiful scenes of Manderley. Enjoyed the audible version and glad to have finally "read" this classic.

Corruption, murder, shatters family. Too long.

Lots of Atlanta landmarks if you know the city well. Enjoyed the plot twists and trying to figure out motives of Paul, Claire, Lydia, and the police as the story unfolds. The characters could have gone in a number of directions so it was fun anticipating their moves. The story and some scenes dragged on more than needed, especially the last few chapters but was good for a long road trip. Slaughter is a great name as this author dreams up some nasty, gruesome killers.

One of my favourite audiobooks. The narrator was excellent with lovely Scottish accent. Brilliant story. Eleanor Oliphant is excellent.
