Why so many negative reviews?
Revisado: 07-28-22
I don't know why there are so many negative reviews because the author went into detail on some of the scenes. The book is about a serial killer, Why candy coat it? I thought is was a good story with great characters. The narrator did a great job as well.

Historia
Something very strange is happening in LeHorn's Hollow. Eerie, piping music is heard late at night, and mysterious fires have been spotted deep in the woods. Women are vanishing without a trace overnight, leaving behind husbands and families. When up-and-coming novelist Adam Senft stumbles upon an unearthly scene, it plunges him and the entire town into an ancient nightmare. Folks say the woods in LeHorn's Hollow are haunted, but what waits there is far worse than any ghost.

I was entertained!
Revisado: 12-24-21
I read other reviews and found that quite a few people were upset about the author describing the dog's genitalia. The author said something about the dog licking his balls. So what! The dog was a major character in the book. Anyway, I thought it was a great story and a different story and very entertaining and the narrator was spot on.

Guy is about to finish writing his breakthrough online article. He overheard the story by chance in a pub and it’s guaranteed to go viral - all he needs to do is persuade the World’s Unluckiest Man to talk to him. His best friend Larry’s quest for killer clickbait material has led him to a recently appeared shanty town in Glasgow, where he finds some kind of urban voodoo cult. Ex-cop Sam has already come face-to-face with the terrifying force behind both these phenomena, but he’s been trying to put it out of his mind.

Historia
Clayton Burroughs comes from a long line of outlaws. For generations the Burroughs clan has made their home on Bull Mountain in North Georgia, running shine, pot, and meth over six state lines, virtually untouched by the rule of law. To distance himself from his family's criminal empire, Clayton takes the job of sheriff in a neighboring community to keep what peace he can.

I took a chance on this book and I'm glad I did. I have never heard of the author before, but I will be looking for future work from him. The story was raw, gritty, and violent. Right up my ally. The narrator did a very good job as well.

Historia
In the beginning, the gods destroyed the world. Five hundred years later, things haven’t gotten much better for humans. The demigods that were left behind to guard over humanity have been using them as fodder for an endless civil war between themselves, and the humans just go on dutifully slaughtering each other, battle after battle. It’s not all bad, though. Perry McGown makes his living off those bloody, stinking battlefields. He works on a crew that reclaims all the spent shell casings. But if anyone found out that he was a deserter from the war, he’d be executed for heresy.

A wild ride through an Apocalyptic future
Revisado: 08-27-19
D.J. Molles has done it again! This is a very interesting story. The book was well written and never slacked up. The characters are great and well placed. Stuber, the gruff, ex- legionnaire deserves his own spin off series. Christian Rummel nails the narration as always. Well worth an audible credit!
