This story explains so many things that have happened in my life. It also in a way explains some scripture I've read but never really understood. I will think differently from now on, about angels, prayer, life, purpose, heaven, even God. I am so grateful for this little glimpse into the spirit world.

not sure why this 3rd book was written. the story did not do the families justice. it was nothing but doom and gloom and after all they had been through they deserved so much more. the narrator was different and terrible with her accents and presentation making it difficult to get through. this could have been a glorious ending to a heartwarming story but fell very short of its potential.

easy listening

Enjoyable story set in war time Europe. Main characters are interesting and have desirable story lines that are easy to follow. Would like to see what happens with the rest of the group if the stories continue.

Loved this first novel by Beth Moore.

Loved the story line and characters. Lots of suspense in a very intricately woven story. Loved the NOLA setting and the southern flair. I love how scripture and faith are woven in. I'm hoping there is a sequel so we can see what happens to these characters.

delightful story

I listened to all 3 stories in the trilogy and liked them all. The characters are interesting and their stories well told. This last book was my favorite. I laughed outloud so many times. Both main characters are irritating, endearing and terribly funny.

Extraordinary love story

I don't know where to start. This is a love story for the ages. It is all our love story in one way or another and it makes you beg and plead the author for the happy ending we didn't all get. The characters are wonderfully flawed and broken, strong and resilient. The performance does not get any better with the telling. This is one of those stories that will stay with me.

Intriguing from the first page.

This story had it all - intrigue, mystery, suspense, budding romance, family drama, new friendships, old friendships all wrapped up in a great story. I'm glad to see it's not just a one off and that she is making it a series. I can't wait to read the rest.

Another Great Story

Loved every minute of it. My only regret is that I've read them all and have to wait for the next one. I love that Bess is finally realizing her feelings for Captain Brandon. I can't wait to see how it unfolds.

Weak main character and story line.

After listening to the first 4 books and anticipating better story lines coming up for the other characters being introduced, this story was a real let down. The main character is too weak and self deprecating in many way. She plays the "my life isn't perfect card" way too much. CKD is very treatable today and not the death sentence they make it sound like it is. She uses it as an excuse, as does her brother, and it gets old. I'm hoping the rest of the series isn't like this one.
