Historia
If you’re struggling with obesity or food addiction, you’ve probably been told that you must deprive yourself of certain foods in order to lose weight. You may have also been convinced by the media and by our culture that if you finally become thin, your life will be better, you’ll be happier, and your suffering will come to an end. The problem is it’s not all about the food. It’s about how food is used to self-soothe, to numb ourselves against the pain of living, or to cope with stress and unresolved emotions.

Some repetition.
Revisado: 11-06-21
While the advice was good, I felt like she was saying the same things over and over.

You can tell how much research went into this book. It comes across as very thorough and believable. Very well done.

good story
Revisado: 12-11-15
I loved the audio interpretation. The story was good. Since it is a generational story, it is slower paced, but it still has you rooting for the characters. The only annoying part of the story was how many times the author had the characters say "What should I do?" The question was definitely over used.

predictable
Revisado: 12-07-15
The story was good but predictable. I knew who the villain was halfway through the story and that made it less interesting.

O.k. story. some narration annoying
Revisado: 12-02-15
In my opinion, the narrator should have been female since the main character was female. The male narrator did not do a good job with the female voices.
The storyline was alright, but knowing what I do about martial arts, I spotted several mistakes or highly unlikely scenarios.
