Brought me to tears!!

Not many books have this effect on me, but it brought me to tears. This was absolutely wonderful and I don’t think that the movie will be able to do it justice. The narration was wonderful, and I made me a pot of grits with bacon the day I completed this book. Just wonderful.

Absolutely loved this book!

The book started a little slow, but I am so very glad that I stuck with it. There were so many times that I was on the verge of tears, but I wouldn't turn it off. Elizabeth Evans did a wonderful job with the narration and brought the entire book to life. This is a must read/listen, multiple times.

I don't normally write reviews, but first I have to say that I love this series. The narrators are great and Troy's gravelly voice is perfect. The only thing is that the was not edited very well by whomever is supposed to edit audiobooks. I am an hour and 21 minutes in and already a lot of Troy's stops and starts have not been edited out and there was even a time that he clears his throat. I am hoping that the folks who are supposed to edit this book see my review and go back and fix this. It is getting distracting.

Therese Plummer as narrator blew me away. The book was an amazing read to begin with, but Therese did such a wonderful job portraying all of the characters emotions, quarks, and moods that I as the listener couldn't pull the headphones out of my ears. This book is a must read/listen to.
