Historia
The ancient magic of wizards was anything but dark. It was the enlightenment that lifted humanity from the squalor of superstition, and the worship of fell spirits and capricious gods, but those days are gone. The shining glory of the sorcerers burned away the subtlety of wisdom, replacing it with easy power, held only in the hands of the elite - a new age built upon the elemental supremacy of aristocrats and the ignorance of the masses.

WHY?
Revisado: 04-26-25
I get that this is suppose to be a kid in a dark world but the characters not at least standing up for themselves gets annoying. I'm almost constantly left asking why did he do this or why didn't he speak up for himself there. The grandpa getting built up for several chapters and dying in his first real battle from a common solder? He knows multiple times over now he has magic potential but chooses to join the regular army and dig latrines? the old man was right he's an idiot and that doesn't make a good story for me. it gets old fast.

Historia
Against his will, Thaden was transported elsewhere in a big flash of light along with millions of other Humans from Earth, to a place where they would train to become Contenders in a whole new world. Unfortunately for him, something occurred during his transference into the “Training” program, and he was ejected from the whole training process and sent into the open mouth of an active volcano for bodily disposal.

MC decisions get annoying
Revisado: 04-14-25
I get he didn't have the same training as everybody else but it seems significantly overplayed. His powers and the concept of the story are the main reason I finished the book. So many decisions he makes are just illogical and contradictory. He spend the whole first half of the book looking for a party when he does, he says they're not strong enough, and would be dependent on him. All of the candidates just arrived, they're all going to be lower level than him. Always puts off checking his notifications & going in the situations not at his best is stupid. Leaving epic loot behind constantly in the beginning was stupid. atleast try to tie it to his back and drag it out of the dungeon somehow. The locals constantly looked down on him so he insists on wearing a cape that would make it worse?

Historia
David always was an outdoorsman and an explorer. But when Earth merged with the magical world of Tannoris, it suddenly became too dangerous for anyone without a Class to leave the cities. A shame, too, because with elves, foxkin, catkin, and many other magical beings abound, there is plenty for him to experience! But now, David’s dream just might come true! A mystical ritual will awaken his Class, and a budding homestead on the wild frontier is waiting for him to take ownership.

Annoying Accent
Revisado: 04-13-25
I could probably like the story if not for the annoying French accent on a fox girl from another world. HOW & WHY do you logically go with that voice?? It just seems unnecessary and eventually unbearable. At higher listening speeds it becomes harder and harder to understand. I had to slow down my normal and Rewind multiple times just to make it comprehensible.

good potential but MC horrible
Revisado: 04-12-25
I like a lot of the concepts and power systems in the book. If not for that I wouldn't have been able to finish it. The MC kowtows and doesn't speak up for him self way to often. He takes way too long to recognize his own potential and alot of the situations around him are obvious to everyone but him. It just seems like his own obliviousness causes a lot the issues in the book.

Historia
Felix had risked everything to stop the threat of the Unending Maw. Except instead of death, he and his Companion Pit were transported to the deadly Void, a place far worse than the Foglands. The Maw is there with them, bonded somehow to Felix in a way none of them understand, but all of them hate. The three must navigate the desolate expanse of the dark Void, contending with voidbeasts, marauders, and the creeping influence of the Maw itself. It will take everything that Felix has—and more—merely to survive, let alone escape. All choices have consequences.

Straight up Dumb MC
Revisado: 04-02-25
What should be blatantly obvious to even the MC and he still doesn't get it. No spine to even speak up for himself gets annoying and he didn't in book one either. Almost all of his conversations with some one other than himself were cringe weak and kowtowing. Both of the deaths he's so upset over Mato and the shield mage from the first book can be traced back to him not speaking up sooner if at all.

Frustrating potential
Revisado: 03-30-25
Mc is the cause of most of his own issues. Just simply having a decent conversation would solve a lot of them. His social awkwardness, the spider in his head constantly trying to get him laid, and the arachnophobia are all just overplayed to the point it gets annoying.
I get a little socially awkwardness being a "gamer" but when it leads a lot of your issues being drawn out for several chapters when it could have been solved in one. That just seems like unimaginative filler.
I actually like the concept of the Soul spider in his head giving commentary and I get it's trying to be comical. However it's way too often, the joke was funny the first five or six times, by the 50th time it just seems worn out.
Practically forgets his "phobia" most the time and that's just not how phobia's work. Either get over it or take a different path already.

Why
Revisado: 03-09-25
The whole deal with death for the pathetic miracle seemed extremely one-sided and unnecessary. If it was necessary there was a poor description of why. Seems like he's faced much worse and even asking that is the antithesis of his character that's been building for 9 plus books. Just seems like a lack of imagination in a horrible rushed ending to this book.

MC weak excuses & horrible logic
Revisado: 02-19-25
Why not go to the Headmaster when someone is in danger? letting days go by so he can dream walk agin is just stupid. not telling him in the beginning thinking he would kick you out because you brought it there is naive and stupid logic. Not telling the Headmaster at the beginning cost others lives and mc essentially has blood on his hands from silence.
Not speaking up for yourself and letting others roll over you. With your imbecile brother making embarrassing comments constantly whithout any recourse. It's just annoying how illogical the mc is. It ruins the book for me which had a great concept to begin with.

Salvatore's worst nightmare is taking on a demon, but if he wants to stay at Quest Academy, how will he prove to himself and everyone else that he can succeed? He's going to have to take on an entire floor of a demonic tower before the first semester comes to a close. That's the least of Sal's problems as he navigates through his first student mission away from the school. Sal is more comfortable at the crafting table, but he needs to survive in a reclaimed zone outside of the academy with the worst team of misfits you could possibly imagine.

Actively trying to ruin the mc.
Revisado: 02-04-25
The first book was good but when they did forcibly insert a " gender neutral " who has been completely irrelevant to the actual story. That's just needlessly shoving a woke ideology down our throat Disney style. That was huge red flag but i liked the world building so i let it slide and bought book 2.... Now i cant even finish it... This book comes along and does everything it can to ruin the story. They've filled it full of silly emotional and moral dilemmas in an apocalyptic humanity survival scenario. Turned a great MC into a strait up sniveling emotional coward. Where did the Mc who punched a bully in the face after getting harassed in the bathroom day 1 go? We want him back...

Historia
One minute, I’m working a boring office job and craving more from life. The next? I’m dropped in the middle of a new world as a dragon with jet-black scales and obsidian flames to match. Luckily, I still have my human form, because the locals weren't happy to see me. Thankfully, one was a sweet fox girl who loves to daydream. Together we hunt to survive, build ourselves a shelter, and fight some dragon slayers—even recruit a cute battle-elf. While living the cozy cabin life and having the occasional battle to the death with the locals, another dragon plagues the kingdom.

Meh
Revisado: 01-24-25
Starts off decent but the dragon fight scene with the elves ruined it. Humongous dragon flies by just to steal a enemies crossbow. Is he a dragon or a hawk? Why not just eat them? At least bite a head off or two.
