Without a doubt Josh Lanyon is one of my very favorite writers, add Gomez Pugh as a narrator and I'm in heaven. This is as usual an excellent book to both read and listen to. I hope there will be addition story's for Adam and Rob in the future.

Historia
The folks in Mike Erikson's small New England town would say he's just your average, everyday guy. And that's exactly how Mike likes it. Sure, the life he's chosen isn't much of a challenge to someone with his unique gifts, but he's content with his quiet and peaceful existence. That is, until an old friend presents him with an irresistible mystery, one that Mike is uniquely qualified to solve.

Very good book and well narrated. Great characters, especially Mike and Jamie. I can only hope that the way this story ended that there will be any other adventure for them both. If this is the case I can't wait.

Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

Loved it
Revisado: 06-02-15
I love PsyCop. This book is my favorite so far but they are all excellent. I like them because not only are the stories entertaining and fresh, the MC's and peripheral characters are all thoroughly engaging and fun. I am so glad I found this series and I can't wait for book 6.
One thing that was a tiny bit disappointing in this book was the sex. In the previous books Phil was a verbal participant in the enjoyment, which added to the hotness of the scene. This time it's more one sided with Vic's voice being the only one heard during and upon completion of the sexy time. It might read better, but in the audio version it's a bit flat.
Also the narrator Mr. Pugh is excellent. Great voice and inflection. I can listen for hours and not get sick of hearing his voice.

Historia
One of the residual spots of conflict in gay rights is the police force, and this audiobook confronts that conflict head-on with the murder of a gay policeman and the investigation by the inimitable Dick Hardesty. We meet many of the familiar characters and get to know Jonathan, a young hustler who becomes more than a casual acquaintance. The entire police force is suspect in this community mystery of intrigue and murder.

Revisado: 05-30-15
I realize this author and this particular series has been around for awhile, but it's new for me. I completely enjoyed this mystery and am happy to find one, with a gay protagonist, that doesn't revolve around just sex. Not that I don't like the romance/mysteries but sometimes I just want a good story and this was just what I was looking for.

Historia
Ever since she was a child, Ivy has been gripped by visions of strange realms just beyond her own. But when her sister goes missing, Ivy discovers the truth is far worse - her hallucinations are real, and her sister is trapped in a parallel realm. And the one person who believes her is the dangerously attractive guy who's bound by an ancient legacy to betray her. Adrian might have turned his back on those who raised him, but that doesn't mean he can change his fate, no matter how strong a pull he feels toward Ivy.

So disappointing
Revisado: 05-18-15
Well I was hoping that this book would bring a new level to ms. Frost's writing, but I was wrong. While the story itself is different the main characters, at least Ivy, is the same carbon copy of every female main character in Ms. frost's books. Another bad thing is that it is narrated by the same woman, which makes it impossible to tell any of them apart. Ivy is a rediculously annoying TSTL character that is so predictable it's nauseating. I won't be following the rest of the series. Also I'm returning both the book and the audible book.

Historia
Victor Bayne's job as a PsyCop involves tracking down dead people and getting them to spill their guts about their final moments. It's never been fun, per se. But it's not usually this annoying. Vic has just moved in with his boyfriend Jacob, he can't figure out where anything's packed, and his co-worker is pressuring him to have a housewarming party.
