If, like me, you are a fan of Uprooted or the ACOWAR series by SJMaas I think you will enjoy this book. It is a retelling in a way but it stands alone and is well developed.

Our whole family, aged 6-37, loves the Penderwicks! The characters are well developed and relatable and the story continues to unfold in a believable and well paced manner. We are all looking forward to listening to the next one.

I've loved Peter Pan since I was a little girl, but had never read it until now. In some ways it's quite different from the Disney version I grew up with, but equally enjoyable and entertaining. I REALLY wanted the Jim Dale version but I could only find it in CD :( This narration was pretty good. I debated for days on which audiobook to purchase and ended up choosing this one based on the sample. My kids especially liked the music added to the pirate shanty's :) I thought the narrator did an ok job distinguishing between characters, was easily understood, and read at a good pace. We listened on our road trip to the beach!

Good for the whole family

What a lovely story and characters. At first, I was hesitant to read this book. I thought, "How interesting can a book about four sisters, two rabbits, and a very interesting boy really be??" Sounds kinda lame to me... but there were so many wonderful reviews that I decided to give it a chance! I'm so glad I did! I was so wrong!! No only was the boy interesting, but so were the girls and the story they built for themselves. It was worth the read and has become a family favorite. I predict many readings of this book in the future.

So well done. So funny. The characters really come into their own with these performances. I love the Disney version of Pooh but this is so lovely and the humor surprised me! Weve listened several times and every time are sad it's over.
