This is for kids
Revisado: 03-04-25
I am CLEARLY not the target audience for these books but it fills the time. Nothing really stood out to me as unique or interesting just like every other isekai with one defining gimmick. I would strongly recommend this book for kids though, the reading level is simple and the material is "safe" for lack of a better word. Narration is good but lacking in variety.

Historia
The strangest thing about Annie's new reality isn't that she's now in the body of a seven-year-old child, the beloved Lillith, feared dead by her family after a particularly nasty bout of pneumonia. It's that she's constantly having to conceal her adult intellect, which is not only advanced but otherworldly. Sure, being a young woman and a grad student in twenty-first-century America had its challenges, but this life as Lillith presents even tougher obstacles. She must tread carefully to conceal her vast knowledge of biology, math, physics, and . . . being an adult.

Great but brutal
Revisado: 02-15-25
I enjoyed the book a lot but it got a bit to sinister at times lots of trigger warnings especially for domestic violence and implied SA. The hate from the MC comes up a lot and could get very repetitive for listeners. While Rachel Leblang has some vocal quirks overall she does a great job with narration. I'll be picking up the next book

Revisado: 02-05-25
For good or ill this book is very similar to the last book and is the last real setup book where nothing really happens. Narration is amazing as always and can't wait for Part 2!

Setup and Short Stories
Revisado: 01-30-25
This entire book is set of short stories that bridge across 50 years right up to the start of the immortal war (book 14). Each story is enjoyable and well written but the book as a whole is on the shorter end compared to previous volumes. The timeskip are handled WAY better than the last one was no unresolved issues or rug pulls this time just an immortal experiencing time pass them by.

Better than expected
Revisado: 01-13-25
Really enjoyed the characters and different POVs given throughout the book. Amy Landon does an amazing job of cycling through a mass of different accents and roles. No 5 star because the book does hit pacing problems 2/3rds into the book but recovers by the end. If your worried about the author abandoning the work don't be, as of this review book to is still being written on royal road.

Better than I thought
Revisado: 10-09-24
Goes a bit long for pacing but way better than I expected. The main cast is what kept me hooked for 90% of the book. Skip all stat recaps and play at 1.1x obviously.

Revisado: 09-27-24
Nothing happens in this book, it's all setup. Next book might be good if the story gets rolling but otherwise not the same quality as RavensDagger's other works. Tess Irondale does as good as she does on all her other roles.
