having lived in the area of the burn, and always intending to get to the book, grateful it was here for me to devour in a day! having been to all the places described, and living through fire season every year, the story of the fire, and the people it effected, really hits home. the tales of corrupt government policy and buy off's reinforces how, as a untitled states, we have come where we've gotten to, even now. absolutely infuriating!!! great story! well written! definately pulled me in to the great fire!
