Mediocre and below, partly fiction.
Revisado: 08-12-24
This is an interesting book, very mediocre and every now and the the writer makes up history to fit to his negative.
for example, the amount of Jews that where murdered during the holocaust is roughly 6 million, however not according to Max.
also Flavius Josephus was according Max a Palestinian Jew, however this terminology is faulty for that period in time.

By explaining how the human brain works and outing its most irrational processes, this book provides the thinking tools that will help you make better decisions, ask the right questions (at the right time), know what to look for when evaluating information, and understand how your own brain subconsciously clouds your judgment. Think you're too smart to be easily misled? Harrison summarizes scientific research showing how easily even intelligent and well-educated people can be fooled.

no a bad book, generally enjoyable.
however it is dogmatic about science.
the author ask you to think critical, but not if it is on a subject that he finds to be absurd or not relevant.
This is a book about the religion of science.

One of the best sci-fi books of all times
Revisado: 08-06-23
Fantastic book, a true delight listen.
It is inspiring and thought provoking, has a deepness rarely found.
I don't think that one must have seen Deep Space 9 to enjoy this book, however it helps.
But can also be a good starting point for DS9.
This book is easily one of the best sci-fi books of all times.

Historia
The first definitive biography of Moses Maimonides, one of the most influential intellects in all of human history, illuminates his life as a philosopher, physician, and lawgiver. Recalling such bestsellers as David McCullough's John Adams and Walter Isaacson's Einstein, Maimonides is a biography on a grand scale, brilliantly explicating one man's life against the background of his time.

Enjoyable, specially in combination with a VR game
Revisado: 04-04-23
Great military scifi book.
The narration: is good enough, sometimes a bit disposing but overall good.
The story is fun and existing, nostalgic a bit. Earth is in a not to clear timeline, or history or date, but this all makes for a great setting. The caricature are relatable and have some depth. too many die for my taste.
During this listen I was playing Red Matter 2 (a VR game), and this made my experience so much better on both the VR game and the books. So I really recommend this combination.
