I wanted to dnf every chapter, I wish I did. 😔

*Spoilers* I forced my self to read it only for it to p*ss me off. 🤬🤬🤬🤬. I was excited for a mafia mmmm but it wasn’t for me. I'll overlook how fast they fell in love, and how Jaxon gave in to them so easily, but sometimes I felt like they were just too much forcing the aspect of Kane and Blaze being doms. 😴Eli I feel like he wasn't really feeling their love even thought they all said they love each other.

The way Kane was rushing to save Jaxon only to be distant after the guy took a beating was ridiculously ridiculous 🙄. Even Blaze thought it wasn't worth being upset still. Maybe it was his condition that cause him to be so clingy but Kane, who was in his right mind was just a 💩 head. Kudos to Eli for standing up for Jaxon as always.

This book had potential but it hit flat. I was planning to DNF but I remembered I could skip through, I did, Understood the main parts, kindof like the spice😏😒 but most of saved some time. There was no chemistry, but bam, you’re in love.

Not as interesting as the first few..

This book was too long winded, long journey but not enough danger, or near death incidents, it was just mediocre, too much chatting not enough action or excitement. Not that things didn't happen but they didn't really grap my attention.

The attack from the lady creature was short lived. Maybe I missed it but, what is she, what was her intention to kill Clide; just because-rubbish.🙄 The excitement was really lacking. Hopefully we'll know more about her and the guy that killed his teacher from the visionish...in the next books.

The only exciting part was when Lord what's his face showed up and pretty much rescued Clide from the guards .💂‍♂️ 💂‍♀️

Also, I'm conflicted with how I feel about the tjene. I agree with how uncomfortable and slave/master like it would feel to have 3 people tied to you for life, so I get why he reminds them to just treat me a friend. However, they are too friendly, Nox in particular talks to Clide as if he's Nox's underlying.

Overall, all of Clide friends pushes him around, maybe because he allows it but he's too soft. I'm not saying he should be a dickhead to his friends but, stand up for yourself more dammit. On the other hand, he's more strict or firm toward people of authority or other criminals which I enjoy, especially when he embarrasses them with sarcasm. I just think he allows them to talk down to him too much (Mathew and soon to be empress girl). He doesn't even get angry when he should. Who the heck wouldn't have a fit if they wake up on a ship and supposedly your gf/friends knocked you out and or drugged/poisoned you- TF. He didn't even try to escape, let Leothing or other tjene try to hold him back he just accepted it like "oh well". Whimp I tell you!!😤

Very funny, rollercoaster pacing, read it :)

The story follows Ben, a former neckbeard weeb who finds himself transported to the world of Glaton. There, he has a new name, a new face, and a new body. He quickly learns that this world is full of magic, monsters, and mischief. His sarcasm and wit help when you're about to get bored.

He needs to find a guild to join, steal the unstealable, and fight monsters no ordinary newbie should be able to do.
The book is full of humor, action, and adventure.

However, it seems I missed the part where he's to convince an innkeeper to make a decent breakfast. He ate without a complaint.

Liz the goblin girl is the definition of a spoiled entitled wannabe brat. Even when she learns she's not human, she still treats Zak and the others like disgusting fungus. "Is that a threat," seriously. Still, she deserved that wake-up call, maybe not the Lizard part. A good epilogue should have been Zak finding his real father, learning of the past, knowing if the lady dragon regains her power, fire strength whatever, even though she said she's old and did fly away in the end but, I kind of wanted more good things in the end. Nice little story to relax to though.

It took me a while to read this book but I'm glad I finally started. This volume was great, Dex is lovely and his humor is perfect, kinda reminds me of Day from "Nothing Special". Isaac you d*ckhead, from the moment he was introduced, I knew he would be a menace. It was too coincidental for him to show up helping-lies! MF is delusional. Then you have that 1st Gen doctor, I want him CIA- taken care of. I don't trust that evil man. And Broadie, don't listen to a word he says he gives manipulator/gaslighting vibes. Science can be a dangerous endeavor if not applied properly." #do not harm, do no more harm”.

I *love love love* the relationship between Cael Dex and their father, their bond is so loving and green. Working together, always being there for each other, the funny bickering is perfect. There's a lot of emotional distress in this volume but healthy relationships that the characters have with each other are great for comfort.

I was excited to read this book, but the narrator ruined this book. Wtf is Bryant so angry?
The spice was ok I guess. That Anyna person is a f*cking bitch who needs someone to embarrass her- in public on camera. It's the first time reading a book with a FC so needy-begging for D, very brave.

I loved it but...

This was a good book, the drama and relationships between all our favorite characters. HOWEVER, I am not a fan of daddy/boy kink. There was an excessive overuse of "daddy" and "baby boy" I feel like it would literally killed all my brain cells.

Most of the times I had to skip scenes between Kenn and Warrick cause it was too much. I feel like they was used it least 4 times in every sentence. Absolute madness!!!

I was sleeping on the author and narrator but oh boy I am glad I woke up. I had little expectations going into this series but Obi's performance hooked me. I came here after reading The Exit Strategy bundle by Jocelynn Drake🥰

This story was well written, added a mixture of humor, trauma (mentions of civilian & military r@p*, torture, exploitation of child, abandonment, being on the run, domestic abuse and alot of emotional baggage) just heavy sh*t.
But with the love and support their new found family and lovers they are working to overcome their traumatic past.

Even though each character experience harsh life their relationships in my opinion is as healthy as a horse. When you would think one person might feel betrayed or if the other didn't trust him, they'd just say "it's okay baby, I understand and I love you soo much 😘." Maybe I'm toxic but I'm like wow can't they argue a little🤔.

I loved the healthy relationships we should cleanse our minds, body heart and souls of toxic traits and behaviors so we can fully acknowledged accept good things and people.

I am a newbie to bdsm so maybe I'm exaggerating, some of these kinks were not extreme but kinda alot just not my thing. The couples were adorablely cute and the seggs was 🔥🔥🔥. Some of the kinky, nasty but sexy things made me cringe but nevertheless I was steadfast🤣.

I know EVERYTHING was consentual and Brad wanted everything he could get but ,I still feel like he was being used even though that's exactly what he wanted. It's weird how I feel that I know.

My only sad point was the ending of book 5, it was not really a cliffhanger but I wanted to know the flow leading up to the trial etc. I think it might be in No Surrender-No Regrets series.

Also, each book is linked to the previous book more of a continuing crossover.
