Historia
Scott Adams has likely failed at more things than anyone you’ve ever met or anyone you’ve even heard of. So how did he go from hapless office worker and serial failure to the creator of Dilbert, one of the world’s most famous syndicated comic strips, in just a few years? In How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big, Adams shares the strategy he has used since he was a teen to invite failure in, to embrace it, then pick its pocket.

Classic overpromise and undeliver
Revisado: 07-23-17
75% of my way thru the book and I don't want to go on. There are some useful tidbits to pull from this book but it's definitely not what i thought it would be. Scott's advice on following your energy was really helpful and is something I've ignored basically my whole life. I've never heard any other self help book talk about this but it rings true. Have been following this approach for the last couple months and it definitely improves my happiness and relationships. Follow activities and projects that give you energy and slowly divest or pair down other ones that sap your energy. Easy concept but not many of us recognize or follow this task. The system and goals concept is fine but it's not rocket science. Not sure why it takes such a large word count to get this idea across. If This book was shorter it could've been a lot better. I feel it just struggles to get to the point and the pacing is too slow. As well it seems most of Scott's failures come after the fact that he's already made it with Dilbert. Kind of like the company that's cash rich and makes stupid bets on projects that don't work because they have to put their cash somewhere. My rating is 3/5.

Historia
Most self-help books encourage you to think differently, to think yourself thin, imagine a richer self or visualize the perfect you. This is difficult, time consuming and often doesn’t work. Drawing on a dazzling array of scientific evidence, psychologist Richard Wiseman presents a radical new insight that turns conventional self-help on its head: simple physical actions represent the quickest, easiest and most powerful way to instantly change how you think and feel.

Best self help book I've ever read.

Will have to listen to the book a second time as there is a lot to digest. The research presented reveals that its more useful to act as if and shift your behaviour - rather than trying to think your way out of undesirable situations. Thinking follows behaviour and emotions follow thinking.

Accountability.ownership

Didn't like this one. This guy deserved more of a reassurance and explanation from his wife. Esther was soft and there seemed to be zero accountability, zero ownership and zero discipline on the wife's part. If you want to experiment sexually don't get married or at least tell the guy you're marrying you want an open relationship. She's having her cake and eating it too.

Gutting podcast. Real deal and 10/10
Revisado: 06-09-17
Might be the most worthwhile podcast for relationships I've ever listened to. Real to the point where you feel you can put yourself in their shoes.
