First off, to answer Will’s question to the readers in the book. I agree with your wife, on how you introduced her to your grandmother. Yea. Sorry but definably a big FAT N.O. Not funny.
Not sure Will might ever read this or any of the reviews however, to the average person who may listen to this book..
I was really surprised at how I could relate to the Will Smith's human condition. I am nowhere, nor will I ever be as rich or famous, but I have the same – what I call “the squirrels in my head” constantly feeding my brain with fears, doubts, judgments pushing me to do better, succeed more, worried about am I enough to be love by my friends, family, etc. I would never have guessed someone successful would have the same squirrels running around as me. Although, in many ways the squirrels have served me well and continue to drive me to keep pushing my life forward.. they can sometimes many times drive you nuts! ( pun intended).
So Will Smith thanks for sharing, your book helped me to understand me and yes, I too have a habit of never being quiet enough. Well Done.

I have never been into biographical books-ever! However, this is more than that; it funny, insightfully, delightful, honest.
I am extremely impressed both with the writing and the telling. This is a story in which you take a journey not with a famous person but with just a man who found his way through life looking for the lessons along the way, listening to the inner voice that we all hear but many seldom use as a guide and learning from both. An example of how to live your life embracing possibilities and not being afraid to take a chance.
Perhaps, it is his wonderful voice. Perhaps it is the way he did not shy away from admitting truths most people care to keep hidden or maybe it is just his Irish blood that makes this a fabulous story in every way. I highly recommend listening you will not be disappointed ..and you will look back on your own life and See the Green Lights :)
