Excellent! A real cozy mystery!

Not any gore but lots of twists and turns and enough clues that someone could maybe work out the solution. The women were all different and the situation made them bring out their strengths, strengths they probably didn’t realize they had. I hope the author writes fast.

Finally, a female hero as cool and powerful and maybe smarter than the male heroes

This was a great story right from the beginning. This female hero is nothing like those in mysteries and fantasies where they always seem to have some part of their thinking that is uniquely female and consequently causes them to have some weakness. The narration has a lot to do with the character’s personality so I hope she never changes. On to the next book.

The “cleanness” and “politeness “ are really different

At first I didn’t know if I would listen to the second book, but the goodness of the characters fighting the System and the other evils takes you in. At first the main character is just trying to find his place in a new world applying his knowledge and abilities to advance, but through other people he meets he starts to take in a view more encompassing the “right thing to do” which just becomes more motivation for him. Of course, I need to see what happens next…

Seth Ring is an amazing writer,

He keeps me always “on the edge of my seat” wanting to know what will happen next. He has written a lot of books and the next one is never far behind. He must have stories gushing out of him to be written down. You should read the beginning of the series to experience how powerful the story is and this is not a repeat of the other series but a whole new one.

Excellent but you should probably read Nova Terra first (spoiler)

Alph was a really necessary character in Nova Terra not only his skills but his whole personality added balance. As already mentioned by others, there are spoilers, so you might read the Nova Terra series first, but still, it stands on its own. After this you will want to read Nova Terra.

Can’t wait for the next book really takes you in

This is the second time I’ve listened to this series while waiting for book 10. When I was getting towards 89 I started slacking off, listening really closely thinking I would be able to guess everything that was going to happen so this time I listened a lot more closely, and it was way more in-depth and worthwhile to pay attention and I’m glad I did before the next book came out. It really makes you think about human potential and all the things that we might not know about that are out there all around us and of course that’s what science-fiction is all about but maybe it’s not fiction we’ll see.

I wish there were more

Thorn is true to himself from book 1 to book 10 and other characters love him for it or hate him. I have the quote about not being his body written down and a few other things. Of course it’s fiction, maybe, for those who want to criticize; it’s a story and an adventure, not an English essay. I loved it, twice, and cried at both endings.

Excellent with lots of info, well organized

This books includes more information than I may ever need or at least I won’t need it soon. I will listen to this more than once. I am glad audible has chapters with their titles and I still marked several points. I bought the kindle version too and was sorry to hear that it’s not as thorough as the audio per another reviewer so I will make more notes of all the links next time. I would recommend this to anyone that is not yet advanced in astrology. Also, the book is read by the author so it is charming and easily kept my attention.

Useful and inspiring

I agree with Tess about the goal being to live in harmony with your surroundings even including people lol. I didn’t know about smudge spray which would be useful, though I will still keep the smoke for more thorough times. I’ve read a couple other of her books and they are full of choices with reasons so everyone can personalize their rituals to their unique lives. Thanks.

Really excellent book and narration!

Much more than the usual self-help book. They all offer something but I would say this book goes beyond the common psychological paths and aims at our essential self. You can tell that Tess has been through a lot and now beautifully shares her experiences with us in a way that we can use to make real changes in our lives. And it’s not just one time information but knowledge we can use again as the lessons repeat (which I think they repeat on a different level so we can be glad when they come back around knowing that we are progressing). I also really loved the narrator: she especially makes the book memorable. I will look for more books with her narrating too.
