Great book, dragged a bit in the beginning, but a real solid piece of work. I would definitely recommend.

It has a dark past - one in which a number of humans were killed. A past that caused it to christen itself "Murderbot." But it has only vague memories of the massacre that spawned that title, and it wants to know more. Teaming up with a Research Transport vessel named ART (you don't want to know what the "A" stands for), Murderbot heads to the mining facility where it went rogue.

I didn’t think I would like these series as much as I do,. The narrator is actually quite good and it’s just an all around fun read!

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Historia
It was long ago, but not as long as it seems: The Berlin Wall fell and the Twin Towers collapsed. In between, one presidential election was allegedly decided by Ross Perot while another was plausibly decided by Ralph Nader. Landlines fell to cell phones, the internet exploded, and pop culture accelerated without the aid of technology that remembered everything. It was the last era with a real mainstream to either identify with or oppose. The ’90s brought about a revolution in the human condition, and a shift in consciousness, that we’re still struggling to understand.

Historia
In Hate Crime Hoax, professor Wilfred Reilly examines over 100 widely publicized incidents of so-called hate crimes that never actually happened. With a critical eye and attention to detail, Reilly debunks these fabricated incidents - many of them alleged to have happened on college campuses - and explores why so many Americans are driven to fake hate crimes. We're not experiencing an epidemic of hate crimes, Reilly concludes - but we might be experiencing an unprecedented epidemic of hate crime hoaxes.

EYE OPENING
Revisado: 04-18-21
This book certainly opened my eyes to the subject matter. I knew these hoaxes existed, but not on this scale. The author uses a lot of data to back up certain claims.
I also enjoyed the performance of the narrator. I usually only like to listen to the author but in this case I was pleasantly surprised about the narrator as well!

Historia
Everything we now know about the universe - from the behavior of quarks to the birth of galaxies - has come from people who've been willing to ponder the unanswerable. And with the advent of modern science, great minds have turned to testing and experimentation rather than mere thought as a way of grappling with some of the universe's most vexing dilemmas. So what is our latest picture of some of the most inexplicable features of the universe? What still remains to be uncovered and explored by today's scientists?

I actually much prefer these lecture type audio books over Neil’s books. He’s such a brilliant educator that it’s hard to stop listening to these lectures. This particular book had some new subject matter that Neil hasn’t talked about much so that was nice. I only wish it was longer!

Historia
Michael Shellenberger has been fighting for a greener planet for decades. He helped save the world’s last unprotected redwoods. He co-created the predecessor to today’s Green New Deal. And he led a successful effort by climate scientists and activists to keep nuclear plants operating, preventing a spike of emissions. But in 2019, as some claimed "billions of people are going to die", contributing to rising anxiety, including among adolescents, Shellenberger decided that he needed to speak out to separate science from fiction.

Not a climate denial book & mostly unbiased approach
Revisado: 12-09-20
First of all, I highly recommend anyone with an open mind and critical thinking skills to give this book a chance!!! I myself was worried this book was going to be no different from the dogmatic view of climate alarmism except just from the polar opposite side of the debate. I was pleasantly surprised it was no such book. The author does an excellent job fitting all the facts and date together for an excellent & cohesive piece of writing.
I learned quite a bit from this book that I will now go and research further especially with regards to Nuclear Energy.
I also enjoyed the narration and I usually can’t stand the narrator chosen for audio books.

Historia
In 2020, the world faced its biggest crisis in a generation: a global pandemic. In the UK, it exposed deep divisions within society and laid bare a toxic culture war that had been raging beneath the surface. From the outset, Piers Morgan urged the nation to come to its senses, once and for all, and held the government to often ferocious account over its handling of the crisis. COVID-19 shed shocking light on the problems that plague our country. Stockpilers and lockdown-cheats revealed our grotesque levels of self-interest.

Surprised how much I enjoyed this book
Revisado: 10-27-20
If you’re looking for a book discussing political correctness taking over the western world then definitely check this book out! I’ve read a few books on this subject and this was by far my favorite.
I really enjoyed listening to Morgan’s personal experiences dealing with various issues related to censorship or “wholeness”. Morgan also has some very intelligent and smart opinions Witt regards to these issues.

Empire of the Summer Moon spans two astonishing stories. The first traces the rise and fall of the Comanches, the most powerful Indian tribe in American history. The second entails one of the most remarkable narratives ever to come out of the Old West: the epic saga of the pioneer woman Cynthia Ann Parker and her mixed-blood son, Quanah, who became the last and greatest chief of the Comanches.

Outstanding piece of work
Revisado: 03-14-20
I never read anything too in depth on the topic nor have I heard of this author until seeing him on Joe Rogan. I’m very glad that I did hear S.C.G on Rogan because this book was absolutely captivating. I only read Non-Fiction but this was a twist on your typical non fiction historical pieces due to the personal stories of so many of the people mentioned in this book.
As for historical accounts this is right up there David McCullough yet never dry. I learned so much after reading this I’m going to have to read again sometime to obtain everything. Also, the writing itself was excellent and performed flawlessly by the narrator. I can’t say enough good things about this book. I hope more people get to hear or read this book. I also look forward to future works by SCG.

Historia
It is a widespread belief among liberals that if only Democrats can continue to dominate national elections, if only those awful Republicans are beaten into submission, the country will be on the right course. But this is to fundamentally misunderstand the modern Democratic Party. Drawing on years of research and first-hand reporting, Frank points out that the Democrats have done little to advance traditional liberal goals: expanding opportunity, fighting for social justice, and ensuring that workers get a fair deal.

Well researched and rarely discussed topic
Revisado: 03-10-20
First off, I’m not even a liberal. Im conservative in many ways but also back many pro worker legislation and I’m very much against globalization for that reason.. all that said, this was an excellent book and something that isn’t often discussed. The democrats sold out the middle class a long time ago and we almost have a one party system these days.. It’s not discussed because the media and establishment are the exact people he discussed in this book. Also the story telling was fantastic, I would recommend this book to anyone!
