Many of the themes represented seemed more out of touch for the time period. The story seemed to drag on with no end in sight . The time line would go slow then jump several years, hard to stay connected.

Historia
After Lucy is found wandering the streets, covered in her best friend Savvy’s blood, everyone thinks she is a murderer. Lucy and Savvy were the golden girls of their small Texas town: pretty, smart, and enviable. Lucy married a dream guy with a big ring and an even bigger new home. Savvy was the social butterfly loved by all, and if you believe the rumors, especially popular with the men in town. It’s been years since that horrible night, a night Lucy can’t remember anything about, and she has since moved to LA and started a new life.

Irony and small town stereotypical behavior at its best
Revisado: 07-06-24
Truly a delight in that the comedy in the face of catastrophic events portrays the heroine as a strong , sarcastic, colorful representation of a female protagonist! Thoroughly enjoyed this story and the amusing characters, especially the grandmother

another amazing journey of life love and indiffere
Revisado: 08-20-22
10 0ut of 10i, this dtory took me on a journey that sparked self discovery and life lessons. I am excited to read another story by this amazing author, who is able to transcend u into the characters and allow u to loose real time ganging on every word from the narrator. the narrator was perfect for this story and I am recommending it to all my fellow book snobs!
