quick lovely story. the story pulls at my heart stings, and makes me want more similar stories. the narrator did an excellent job I've listened to this one many times especially and keep it in my library to listen to between my longer books.

the book is one I own in paperback form and have read several times. the voice actor has a very monotone voice and doesn't give each character a unique tone but the story more then makes up for it.

great story

I'm partial to Anne bishop she is my favorite author. I borrowed this book from my local library and wanted to own it but I don't have time to read, and have plenty of time to listen
the voice is a bit monotone but ok... not too bad I got use to it by chapter 4 but my husband herd part of it as background noise while I was cleaning and wondered why I was listening to such a mechanical voice... it's not that bad but there are slow parts in the story where it is kinda zzz time with her voice but the words and the picture that is painted is worth the oversight of the slightly boring voice.

I had the paperback at one time I have since lost it. this is my first audible listen and it was amazing love anne bishop's stories and this series is one of my favorites. already purchasing the next 2 in this trilogy.
