One of the best written zombie tales I've read!

I couldn't wait to listen to this book.
It was just as addictive as the first in the series. The author has developed the characters so well that I was able to experience the emotions of loss and fear along with the main character Cassie. The narration is superb. Julia Whelan does a wonderful job of drawing you into the "end of the world". Her ability to add the elements of fear, anxiety, anger and loss allows the reader to fully participate.
I would love to read a story from the standpoint of other characters as well - perhaps Zeke or Hank and Henry .

Where does Gregor and the Curse of the Warmbloods rank among all the audiobooks you???ve listened to so far?
This story and its' characters will always be some of my favorites. It is easy to get lost in the adventures and the atmosphere of the Underland.
What did you like best about this story?
I listened to the first book because I enjoyed Collins other books. Once finished, I couldn't wait to follow the characters to their next adventure.
Which scene was your favorite?
It is hard for me to target just one. I enjoyed the imagery Collins provided of the jungle and the characters' difficulties navigating the dangers. I really enjoyed the interactions between RipRed and Gregor.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, but I would constantly listen to books if I could. The further I read in the series, the more time I spent listening.
Any additional comments?
I realize this book was written for young adults, but, like the Hunger Games, it has an appeal for all ages.
