Historia
FBI Agent Maggie Allen had a gift for catching serial killers. Now, following the death of her husband and son, she can barely get out of bed. Desperate, Maggie agrees to take part in a drug trial - a last-ditch effort to find something that might help her cope. The drug helps. However, it also carries several unpleasant side effects, not the least of them being an exceptional heightening of all her senses...just the kind of thing her old partner could use to help the FBI track down a prolific serial killer who is proving impossible to catch.

Will definitely get in your head
Revisado: 06-26-17
This book shows how our lives can change in an instant, giving us the chance to reinvent ourselves in our own image. Perhaps it's fantasy that magic pills like these exist, but it's not crazy to wish that they did! What I wouldn't do to be the enhanced person that Angel Clark so eloquently speaks about in her narration of Side Effects.

Bringing the unexpected to life!
Revisado: 06-26-17
No one suspects that their neighbor is a burglar, or even a murderer, but Frothy Fiasco reminds us that anyone can be hiding right under our nose and we may never know their dark secrets. Angel Clark's narration builds the suspense of the story and encourages listeners to think deeper about their lives and communities.

A very real topic
Revisado: 06-26-17
Although not the best book if you're looking for something fun or thrilling to listen to, this report is a thoroughly informative account of the need-to-knows dealing with being a single mother to boys. I cannot imagine what the task feels like, but Angel Clark's serious voice makes the contents of the book so real and important to know.

Historia
Felicity wasn't expecting Noah Call to meet her at the train station. She was expecting Peter, the successful rancher and businessman she had agreed to marry. She had put aside everything at home, all on the strength of a few letters, to become a mail order bride. Now the man she had said she would marry couldn't even be bothered to meet her in person. Noah Call is a rough, no-nonsense rancher who doesn't put up with Felicity's high-handed city ways. As she travels to Peter's ranch, she wonders if she has made a terrible mistake. Is she cut out to be a mail order bride?

The voice makes it for me
Revisado: 06-26-17
I normally wouldn't find this subject to be entertaining, but hearing the book voiced by Angel Clark has made me unable to refuse listening. Felicity's story is so intriguing because of Clark's clear passion for being a talented orator. I am eager to read Frontier Bride and see if it is done as well as Ice Bride!
