It is not completely worthless, but of very little substance, and filled with small inaccuracies that lead you to question everything. I listened twice to confirm, but for example, yes, it does say Euboea is west of mainland Greece in Chapter 1. The pronunciation is atrocious, which makes it seem like AI is reading. Suleiman is Soo-LEE-uh-men. As someone with only basic knowledge of Greece, the facial issues were too much to believe in the credibility beyond anything more than cursory information.

Outstanding Portrait of an American Hero

Grant is often forgotten in 21st Century America. This superb telling of his life is a wonderful reminder of the great man who has fallen victim to the indecency of time. He was not simply the general who won the war; he is one of the greatest Americans to ever live.

Professor Baum is a fantastic lecturer. Combining typical historical discussion with personal anecdotes, he keeps you engaged throughout the 48 lectures. Possibly the greatest Great Course I have listened to yet. Highly recommend.
