All is not well at Castle's Café. Since the fatal shooting, customers have been staying away, and now Nellie finds herself in debt to the sinister Terence Carter. But when a deadly attack strikes close to home, these troubles pale into insignificance. Meanwhile, Jimmy Castle's relationship with family friend Reenie Turner has deepened, and in the aftermath of the attack that could so easily have killed them, they decide to get married. I love the authors capability to intertwine so many different stories into one.

Great series, outstanding narration
Revisado: 08-19-24
I've loved all 4 Dover Cafe books. The narrator is one of, if not the best I have ever heard.

Dreadful Narration
Revisado: 04-15-22
The narrator's character voices are unbearable . Didn't think it was possible, but they became even worse as the story went on.
I would like to finish the series, but I will seek out the printed versions. There is no way I could endure another 12+ hours of the narrator.

Narration needs improving
Revisado: 04-02-22
Needs a different narrator. Some of the character voices were actually painful to listen to.

Lionboy: The Chase was a great listen!
Revisado: 04-06-05
My 12 year old son and I listen to audiobooks in the car on the way to school, we both enjoyed this continuing adventure. The story move along quickly and the developments with the characters we met in the first story keep you engaged right up to the exciting conclusion of this book!
Simon Jones is one of the best narrators we have ever heard - We have enjoyed his reading of other stories and he doesnt disappoint with this one!
