Historia
In this beautiful, close-to-the bone account, Jennifer Grey takes listeners on a vivid tour of the experiences that have shaped her, from her childhood as the daughter of Broadway and film legend Joel Grey, to the surprise hit with Patrick Swayze that made her America’s sweetheart, to her inspiring season eleven win on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.

Fascinating listen
Revisado: 08-15-22
Dirty Dancing was as pivotal a part of my childhood as was the Wizard Of Oz. I envied “Baby” and her ability to get the guy while learning to step out of her shell and find herself. Hearing about Jennifer’s life and experiences, her family and personal life was so fascinating. I never knew any of that!
Hearing Jennifer Grey narrate her story was also a treat. I love when the author narrates their stories and this was no exception. She really helped you to engage with what she was telling you. I felt like I was sitting with a friend while she told me about her life.

Very detailed
Revisado: 03-15-19
This book is probably a bit triggering for anyone who has been in a relationship like this but it’s very good. It’s just baffling how people can fall for people like Brad. There is soooo much detail. So much to cover in this very fascinating story. The trial, is by far the best part of the book.

Seems very unorganized
Revisado: 10-31-16
This book was in my humble opinion terribly written. It is so repetitive it annoyed me.
Instead of organizing this book by subject/person being discussed it was arranged in such a way that the same few people were talked about at nauseam. With the same details repeated. I was not a fan at all.

Historia
Known throughout Tennessee as "Old Kate", the Bell Witch took up residence with John Bell's family in 1818. It was a cruel and noisy spirit, given to knocking and gnawing sounds before finding its own voices. With these voices and supernatural acts, the Bell Witch tormented the Bell family. The extraordinary tale recounts the only documented case in U.S. History when a spirit "actually caused a man's death".

A great story about a families very difficult time. Great to know more about the legend and the narrator was really fun to listen to.
Which character – as performed by Cameron Beierle – was your favorite?
Old Kate, the bell witch. Very well done. Sometimes too well done!
