An unforgettable new novella from number-one New York Times best-selling author Jamie McGuire. Everything about Abby and Travis’s elopement was top-secret… until now. Fans of Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster will get all of their questions answered in this whirlwind tale of the wedding day (and night!) - and as with all good stories, this one will definitely have been worth the wait.

Nope, just nope!
Revisado: 09-13-16
This actually made me think less of the main characters and broke my heart a bit!! This feels like the publisher was pushing for a novella, but it fell flat. No Bueno, I think I'm done if the next book has this feel! I don't think Beautiful Disaster was supposed to continue, the integrity of the story is diminished with each new book. I'll take quality over quantity any day!

Uggghhhh, I had a feeling this series was going down hill after Beautiful Wedding!
Revisado: 09-13-16
This story was very lackluster. I found myself tuning out more often than not. The character development just isn't there and Jamie McGuire should have just stopped with Beautiful Disaster!! That story was amazing, I floved it! Now she's trying way too hard and it's very apparent.......

#Confess, 5 stars are not enough for this story!
Revisado: 03-11-15
OMG (not being lame, you’ll see when you read the book) this is one of the most incredible stories I have read. Colleen Hoover just has this amazing talent of weaving storylines together, so much so you can never guess what is coming. This book will fill you with so many emotions right from the prologue. I literally went from sobbing, to laughing to hating some characters so much I could feel my blood pressure rising! The story has the perfect blend of raw reality and humor right when you need it most.
I read the paperback and listened to the audiobook at the same time, because I simply did not want to have to put the story down for any reason! Sebastian York and Elizabeth Louise did an amazing job narrating the story for the chapters I listened to. I look forward to listening to the whole audiobook soon since this story just begs to be read over and over!
Of course, this isn’t just a simple book. In the digital or paperback version, you also get to see the paintings (commissioned by Danny O’Connor) that Owen creates from peoples’ confessions and that adds so much more to the experience. I can’t even look at the last painting without wanting to curl up in the fetal position and bawl my eyes out! Please do yourself a favor and also purchase the digital or hard copy of the books in addition to this very well done audiobook!
I am simply in awe of Colleen Hoover’s creativity and storytelling ability. Seriously, 5 stars are just not enough for this book!

K.A. Tucker does it again! BEAUTIFUL story!!
Revisado: 10-09-14
Would you consider the audio edition of Burying Water to be better than the print version?
Most books I read are in audio. Narrators Josh Goodman and Elizabeth Louise are fabulous. They really brought the characters to life and I enjoy having duel narration from the male and female perspective. This story is so engaging and intriguing I am positive the print version is just as enjoyable!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
There are so many beautiful moments in this story, but I would have to say that moment when Ginny and Water become family just made my heart so happy!!
Any additional comments?
K.A. Tucker grabs you from the first chapter laying the ground work for this story. The story is told from both present and past from two different sides so you just get little pieces along the way. It makes it very hard to stop reading because you simply must know what happened. This story is also about true love, compassion and healing. About 3/4 of the way through the book it's best to have a good amount of tissues on hand! This isn't just a good old love story, it's also about unconditional love from family, whether they are blood or not. I loved everything about this story and I am sure I will be reading it again soon since I already miss the characters!

Such a unique story!
Revisado: 09-14-14
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, this book is very captivating and was hard to put down. I wanted to know more about each character and how they were connected. It's such a unique story that you just get caught up in. I really enjoyed learning more about Kel and Arthur's back stories and they are connected.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Heft?
When Arthur goes to the park for the first time in years, it's really a turning point of the whole story. The second part is when Kel is finally free and all the missteps he takes after that moment.
Have you listened to any of Kirby Heyborne and Keith Szarabajka ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I absolutely love when I see Kirby Heybourne as the narrator and have added many books to my wishlist simply because he is reading them. Keith Szarabajka was brilliant and I would certainly listen to other books narrated by him.

Get the print or ebook, narrator ruins the story!
Revisado: 08-05-14
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
No. I started this story with the ebook, then switched about 4 chapters in to the audio with Whispersync. I was really starting to enjoy the story until the narrator ruined it. I am going back to the print version so I can get back to the story. I listen to 3-5 audiobooks a week and can usually warm up to almost any narrator, but her voice immediately makes me tune out.
What didn’t you like about Dara Rosenberg’s performance?
She is not a good match for this set of characters. It's over done and makes them all sound like immature valley girls from the 90's. It's insanely distracting from the story. I am going back to the ebook after attempting 2 chapters of the audio. Her impression of Jack is just horrid!

Claire is a 20-something, single mom who grudgingly helps her best friend sell sex toys while she attempts to make enough money to start her own business to give her foul-mouthed, but extremely loveable (when he's asleep) toddler a better life. When Carter, the one-night-stand from her past that changed her life forever, shows up in her hometown bar without any recollection of her besides her unique chocolate scent, Claire will make it a point that he remembers her this time. With Carter's undisguised shock at suddenly finding out he has a four-year-old son and Claire's panic that her stretch marks and slim-to-none bedroom experience will send the man of her dreams heading for the hills, the pair will do whatever they can to get their happily ever after.

Revisado: 04-20-14
Would you listen to Seduction and Snacks again? Why?
YES!!! I just finished all 3 books in the series and I want to start over again! I was laughing almost non-stop while listening to this book! Tara Sivec I bow down to your Queen of Crude Humor!
Who was your favorite character and why?
It's really a toss up between Gavin and Drew since they are pretty much on the same mental level ;-P No spoilers here, listen to the book!
Any additional comments?
If you are easily offended or have no sense of humor (pretty much the same thing) don't listen to this book. Otherwise do yourself a favor and dive in this crazy-funny series! I still will randomly giggle thinking of scenes and certain vocabulary. Love, Love, Love!!!!!!

This will make you laugh & cry equally!
Revisado: 04-03-14
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, this was a beautiful story! I was so brutally realistic in the thoughts and feelings of the characters. It is such an emotional roller coaster throughout the entire book. One minute you are laughing hysterically and the next you find yourself in tears as the reality of the situation hits home. Watching the healing process begin with both Doug and Russ is so heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. They are so lucky to have each other and the crazy dysfunctional Parker family!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Clair! She is just so funny, demanding and loveable at the same time. I would love to have her as my twin sister! She is very blunt and honest about everything, sugarcoating is not in her skill set!
I also adore Russ, most likely because he is the teenage version of Doug. He is just trying to navigate life as a teenager, which is no picnic, coupled with the grief of losing his mother so tragically. Throughout all of this he remains very funny and charming.
Which character – as performed by Eric Ruben – was your favorite?
Doug. Erik Ruben does an amazing job pulling off his attitude, emotions and overall character. You really feel like you are hearing the story straight from Doug.
Who was the most memorable character of How to Talk to a Widower and why?
The most memorable character would be the Parker family as a whole. They are so dysfunctional, yet their bond is unbelievably tight! Any scene in the book where there is more than one of the family members together you will either be laughing or crying!

Colleen Hoover does not disappoint!!
Revisado: 03-18-14
I have been on pins and needles waiting for the release of this book! It was so worth the wait and I could not stop listening once I started. I sacrificed an entire night’s sleep to go on this wonderful ride with Sydney and Ridge. The addition of having a soundtrack to the book was so amazing! Griffin Peterson brings all the songs he wrote in collaboration with Colleen Hoover to life. You MUST purchase the album if you are going to listen to or read this book. I guarantee it will be on repeat for days after you finish the story!!
