The cast was awesome, as was the storyline. I must listen to the 2 book. I think all, young & old would enjoy this story. I really cannot say what I enjoyed the most because the whole book kept me interested, and it left off where you are wanting more.

It does not matter how the Mercy books are written they are all wonderful, it’s almost like you can feel how mercy feels, Patricia Briggs writes the best supernatural books I have ever read. It goes to show you do not have to have so many vile words belligerent words to write a fabulous book or I should say books. I purchase and keep all of them also Lorelai King really knows how to tell a story. Lorelai I will follow your reading, you put so much feeling into your reading these books. I hope there is more to come. Thank you Patricia for such wonderful books. you actually get 10 stars+

Dirty is right

At first I thought this was going to be a standard werewolf book, after a while they start to sound alike. But listening to this was definitely different, there were a few words that I truly hate, but I guess that all depends on the individual reading or listening to the book, I like the storyline and where it is heading I will get the second book. I really don’t like to give reviews on books but since I found this one so different this is my review. You never know what you might like unless you try it. And just so you know I never give five stars. Read and enjoy the wolf that bites.

Love those cowboys

I am not a person who usually writes reviews, but I have to say I enjoyed this for hours of listening immensely, I had forgotten just how awesome the old West books are. I read, back before they had these audible books, the Calder series, and many more. I really enjoyed the narrator because he sounds like the type of person who you want at your back and yet is a bad boy. Also he has an amazing voice to play this type of a character. I think any age group will enjoy these books, keep them coming because I’m hooked I absolutely love this one so I am sure I will love all the rest.

Alice on the run

I love the whole Audible sound. Alice is honest, and up front about his life in what 2 hours can give, his voice is just as great as ever. I grew up with Alice I still listen to Alice and Alice Cooper will always be my main man. You will love listening to this audiobook.

Surprisingly witty an charming

I was very surprised when I started listening to this book, truthfully I did not think I would particularly care for it but to be honest I fell in love with it by the third chapter I was definitely hooked the characters are colorful mouthy charming and everything that goes with that. I am off to read the second one I can hardly wait. I recommend this book.

Scarlet does it again

I love this series of books but as usual this one could go further with Annie growing up but I guess time will tell. I love almost all the characters even though Daschle could show a little empathy from time to time. But then again that wouldn’t be Daschle. Also Corey has her own thing I’ve been coming. Can’t wait to see what might happen. Melissa I love your writings.

I like all books that are sci-fi or fantasy. Anything that gets me away from the reality of this world. The characters are very colorful and interesting. This book will be liked by teens up to seniors. I like the twist in the turns. But just as you think you might know who is the true bad guy Bam they send something else your way. Can’t wait to go to the next book in the series.
