Historia
When a guy tries to roofie her, young surgeon Ryn Wilkie is catapulted onto a parallel Earth that’s at the technological level of the late 1800s. Confronted with a society where women's voices are stifled and medical advancements are non-existent, Ryn's despair turns to determination when she discovers her ability to flip between worlds. Can she leverage her abilities to advance their technology and challenge those deep-seated gender biases, or will the weight of their traditions prove insurmountable? And, can she stop the guy who attacked her before he hurts other women?

LOVED IT!
Revisado: 03-23-25
Awesome story about an OP heroine with isekai abilities. It also has a hint of time travel because she travels to a world where fashion, medicine, technology, etc… has seen no progress. I like how they were awed by the heroine. It feels good to read a story where nothing goes wrong or if it does, you know the heroine will always win.
P.S. Upside or downside, there’s no hint of romance.

Cute and Fun Read

This book was sex crazed! I loved it! LOL It wasn’t about the sex. I liked how the heroine saw quirks instead of flaws. She truly loved her mates because of their imperfections and embraced it with all her heart. The steam level was not over the charts but the romance was there. It ends as “happy for now” and that’s enough for me.

When her best friend is summoned to become an Axxeon breeder, Alora is prepared to help her run. Until two huge Axxeon warriors show and take Alora captive instead. She thinks there’s nothing worse than being taken as an alien incubator... but she’s wrong. Very wrong.

Horrible!
Revisado: 05-18-24
Romance is dead. The hero didn’t deserve her. He used the FL without her consent as a disposable weapon. It gets worse. After 50% of the book, he was still determined to sacrifice the FL’s life to ensure his legacy. There was no connection between this couple other than, “I want to spank your ass.” Yeah, he was a misogynistic pig or prick - take your pick cause he’s definitely both. I can’t believe this is what passes for a fairytale. Forget about love because I can only describe this as abuse or Stockholm syndrome. By the end, when the FL got a heart transplant, she was suddenly at peace with the ML’s betrayal and chalked it all up to cultural differences. WOW! Who in their right mind would buy this crap?
The blurb about a smart heroine was very misleading. She had a stellar academic background but she NEVER used it. She acted like a love sick fool from beginning to end like she didn’t have a brain to think past her physical attraction and promises of spankings to focus on some self respect. Her character was underdeveloped and her ensuing actions were convenient for the plot. Uuughhhhh....This sucks!

Evil is flooding the galaxy, and for some reason, destiny has chosen me to stop it. The only problem is, I don’t know how. Luckily, I meet some men along the way who are willing to follow me on this mission. If the king could see me now, draped in leather and wielding pistols and knives rather than wearing ballgowns and reading old scrolls, he would collapse onto his golden throne.

Story was good but I couldn’t relate with the protagonist
Revisado: 09-10-23
The female lead is a princess and she was too perfect to be real. She didn’t have any character flaws that would be relatable to a human like me. I couldn’t empathize with her cause. In my head, her actions, as described, was nothing short of badass, but i couldn’t bring myself to care and invest in her trials and tribulations.
She had 6 guys that i liked but not loved because they had very little character aside from serving the needs of the female lead. I’d love the male leads more if they had a sense of purpose outside of their love and devotion for the female lead. The romance was good but it didn’t tick all my boxes.
WAS IT WORTH IT? I bought this book during a sale at less than 7 USD + 16 hour book + okay storyline = good enough to pass time.

Flawed Heroine Deserved Better than the Hero
Revisado: 08-27-23
I WISH I NEVER PAID TO BUY THIS AUDIOBOOK.
I finished this story hoping that the hero would apologize to the heroine for letting her suffer through torture while endlessly waiting for the hero to rescue her. When the hero does rescue the heroine, he was actually there to rescue her friend. I understand that the heroine was also guilty but her only crime was lying because she never told the hero that someone paid her to choose him as her mate. The heroine also compromised the hero and his team's mission and safety by helping the enemy keep track of them. However, she didn't deserve to be taken as a slave and tortured for being naive, stupid, and a liar. The punishment didn't fit her crime.
When the hero found the heroine with her battered body and suffering from psychological trauma, the hero and his team probably thought she deserved it because they grilled her on her betrayal (I skipped a lot when it came to these last few chapter because I hated the hero and his team's actions towards her at the end). At first, I felt sorry for the hero being stuck with a lying selfish heroine but, at the end, the heroine tried to redeem herself when she wouldn't give any information about the hero and his team even when she was tortured until she passed out. I felt like the heroine was naive and stupid by taking bribes to choose the hero, as her mate, but that was her only sin. I think the heroine made mistakes but she deserved better than the hero. At the end, the male lead just rubbed me the wrong way and I detested him for his lack of actual heroic action. He was NO hero... just another by-stander who preferred to be right.
On another note, the narrator's performance was ok but the story always dictates my overall score... and it sucked like the pits of hell. Hell is other people and both the FL and ML hurt each other but they stayed together because no one else would have them or they thought they couldn't do better than each other.
