Overall, I enjoyed this book. I look forward to reading more of this series. I like the idea of a healer being the MC and being able to survive without other party members. My only issue was the narration, and even then, it wasn't an issue the whole book. During the dialogue, Meili did a fine job making sure the different characters sounded distinct. However, since the MC was alone for most of this book, the narration was more internal thoughts and storytelling. When it comes to that, Meili sounded more like a news anchor. At times, it would take me out of the book, but not enough to make stop listening.

High School Sweethearts Find Their HEA

A second chance romance for high school sweethearts who were torn apart? Sign me up. Reunion is an example of Lynn's ability to write awesome love/hate relationships. Not only do we see that love/hate between the characters, but I experienced that as a reader/listener for the characters. In the beginning, the reader is only given so much information. As the story progresses, we learn more about what happened to Brett and Tony, both individually and as a couple. I love that both MCs are not perfect and have flaws. Brett can be very stand-offish and focused on himself. Tony wants to please people and puts himself last. Both men are a product of their past experiences.

Michael Ferraiuolo is one of my favorite narrators. He does a great job portraying emotions and personalities. When Tony is questioning his past relationship or when Brett is thinking about his horrible bullying experiences, Michael allows the listener to feel what the MCs are feeling. Another reason Michael is a great narrator is his ability to maintain the different characters. I had an easy time identifying who was speaking throughout the book.

This book made me cry, laugh, and fan myself. If you are searching for a book with emotion, steam, and a great HEA, I recommend giving Reunion a listen.

I love these three so much and Bolton did a wonderful job bringing their story to life. This and Close to Home (book 3) are some comfort listens for me.

I enjoyed how Sean and Paul's causal agreement evolves into something more. Sean and Paul have a large age gap. I liked that it wasn't a point brought up between the two MCs over and over again. The side characters had more of an issue with the age difference than the MCs. I felt for the couple, especially Sean, during the "dark period". The angst level is pretty low which I appreciate.
Nick J. Russo is one of my favorite narrators. He did a great job with this one, too. I always enjoy his voice acting. He did a great job portraying the characters' emotions. Sometimes, it is hard to follow dialogue between multiple characters. Russo always does a nice job making the voices distinguishable.
This was great listen. If you are looking for an age gap and/or naval, this is an amazing option.

Beck is in between jobs and decides to take care of his late grandma's house. Cal is a farm boy through and through. After having no luck getting land from Beck's grandma, Cal decides to convince Beck it is the right thing to do. Beck is trying to decide if Cal is the same inconsiderate boy he spent time with as a kid or if he has changed for the better. I enjoyed dynamic between the two MCs. I am from a small farming community, and I can sympathize with Cal.
Boudreaux is one of my go-to voice performers. He does not disappoint when voicing Beck, Cal, and the other quirky characters. He portrays everyone's personalities and emotions. The dialogue between multiple characters was easy to follow.
This is a great high steam, small town romance. I will absolutely be relistening to this one.

This book is a relisten for me. Silvia always does sweet kink right. Rob is such a sexy Daddy but due to his past he's understanding of real love is lacking. Marty is a hurt boy who needs someone to keep him safe while letting him be independent.
Michael Pauley/Dean brought the characters to life. His gruff voice for Rob is yummy. Michael does a wonderful job bringing out Marty unsure yearning. All the characters are recognizable, and their personalities shine through.
If you like sexy times in a barn, yummy food, and sweet horses, you need this audio in your life.

Introvert Oliver is dragged to a family reunion/vacation at a ski resort. Outdoorsy David agrees to visit a ski resort with his best friend. After a humorous mix-up with Oliver's ski lessons, David ends up saving Oliver multiple times.
Silvia Violet is a one-click author for me. Her works has humor, lots of steam, lower angst, and sometimes a dash of kink. Anticipating Disaster has all of those things.
If you are familiar is with M/M audiobooks, you most likely know Michael Pauley/Dean's work. Michael is fabulous voice actor and always brings his 'a' game to the books he preforms. This is true for this book, too. Michael brings all the characters to life and does a wonderful job portraying the various people's personalities.
I highly recommend this book!!!

So much yes! I read Foxy Heart which is a precursor to Killer Heart. I fell in love with the characters, and I am so happy we get to know more about Caleb and Wade. This was a great story about people on different sides coming together. Rhys Lawless's puts a nice spin to the magical/supernatural world. If you are looking for high steam, this story might not be what you are looking for BUT I think you should give it a try. The tale is so enjoyable, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I have never heard John York before, and I'm happy I have been introduced to him. He had wonderful energy, and I loved his voices. All the characters were discernible and the dialogue was easy to follow.

Lots of knotty fun with angst

This was my first J.J. Masters book. This shifter book contained a lot of knotty ;) fun with alpha Kai and omega Luca. There were several conflicts throughout the book. Kai's father, the King of the North, is a traditionalist and believes alphas are superior to omegas. Therefore, Kai fights what he was raised to believe but it still seeps into his mannerisms and speech throughout the story. The real Luca is not the "traditional" omega and is brought down by the King and Kai several times. Even when Luca is belittled and looked down upon, he maintains a relatively upbeat attitude. Luca has to face Kai's past lovers as well as Kai's attitude towards sex with others after mating. On top of that, Luca has issues getting pregnant in the time the King has allotted the new couple. My heart broke for Luca over and over again. I did have issues with Luca's feelings towards the king at the end. Honestly, even with Luca's resiliency and upbeat attitude, I have no idea how he could forgive the king for all his horrible decisions and actions concerning Luca.
John Solo is very well known in the M/M romance community. As usual, he brought his 'A' game. He gave each character his own voice, and I could easily identify the speaker.
If don't mind some angst with your shifter MPreg experience, give this book a listen.
